In the next EAFC, they could perhaps find a solution for a player preferred by the player, but with a lower total value, to play instead of a higher value, stronger, better player. Maybe "mark" the desired player, so to speak, and he would be played against all players playing the same position. So a 78 could play, and an 82 would remain as a replacement. He shouldn't be sold so that he doesn't take away playing time from the other.

you said chelsea needs to bring in physical striker but the thing is pl is more competitive nowadays and we saw how lukaku failed in pl even after being much stronger physically.what chelsea needs currently is a proper fox in the box type striker and probably a good lw so that they can adapt wingplay and score goals with proper balanced backline

You could block offers on the players you dont want to leave the entire career if thats still possible, or either drop players to the reserves in situations like that, or send them out on loan and hope they grow more than the players that have been taking playtime away from them👍

The thing is that we have TWO sporting director who has no idea what they are doing. If Chelsea stop spending unnecessary money on unnecessary players/position, and bring in someone who for example in this rebuild like a Thuram or, fair play to Chelsea for bringing in Adarabioyo for experience, and just give the coach what they need, they will compete, and the money will come after. But sadly, we don't do it lol.

Hi Cani , on live editor I discovered an option that I believe allows you to decide who plays , I believe it’s called “selection bias” in the player’s page, I didn’t try it myself but it seemed to be it

The game doesn't play by rating completely in my experience. It goes off of squad role as well, so someone who's lower rated and crucial will play more than someone higher rated and rotational
