EOC Transmission TUNE For The DIESEL Jeep Gladiator/JL (Tazor Settings Too!)

This is the exact setup I want for my JLURD. EOC tow spec weight loss, trans tune, and 4.56 gears for my 37's. Surprisingly I sold the wife on it too from a reliability standpoint and keeping our Jeep for the long haul. As much as I really want the multimap setup, I use the crap out of my Tazer. Swaykill from a hotkey is such an amazing feature.

No, you gotta sell the wife on breathing in group one carcinogenic and get her ready for the smells lol. To keep it reliable, you need a catch can the right fuel additives, the right oils and water methanol injection it keeps everything mint condition in the intake system and emissions.

Transmission tunes are very harsh on the bottom end on an Eco diesel. As the tune goes into high gear very quickly and lugs the engine and lock the torque converter sooner you get more shuttering and and harmonic damage to the bottom end of the engine. Also, with the torque limiters between ships removed, you damage the internals of the transmission as well, as it doesn’t pull power between shifts anymore.

It’s a trade off as with every modification. It’s common sense to not let a diesel lug. Watching egts with an external gauge helps too. My jeep is more or less a crawler. It does not see full throttle definitely not when shifting. If not. I have a lifetime aftermarket warrenty that will cover it.

@@WolfOverland Yes but the tune fallows the common sense of the tuner. It will lug in auto mode higher then what is safe. The lifetime warranty rules have a very strict protocol with maintenance records and some times must be done at the dealer that issued the warranty. Carefully read the many pages on requirements. I don't even let the Dealer do any work on my truck including warrantee which have not needed any. Once you touch the original engine and trans, it never is the same as what came from the factory with overall quality.

For me the security light only comes on when using remote start. I went with the option of them programming and sending me a complete new ecu. Didn't trust my factory ecu not getting lost in the mail
