Welcome to Chongqing! I think I can help correct a small detail: the triangular buns you’ve bought from street vendors are not made of soybeans but sticky rice. They can be filled with various flavors, and we call them "san-jow-bah" here in Chongqing. Additionally, you should definitely try the taxis in Chongqing. Locals humorously refer to them as 'yellow Ferraris.' The taxi fares in Chongqing are very cheap, with a starting fare of 10 RMB for the first 3 kilometers and 1.5 RMB per kilometer after that. You'll have an unforgettable roller-coaster-like taxi ride experience.

Really enjoy watching your video. I was born in East China and have never been to Chongqing before but have always wanted to! Because Chongqing (and Chengdu) are said to be very cosy places where local people prefer a laid-back lifestyles, whereas in east China people are just too anxious about money most of the time - and don't enjoy lifes as much. (PS. just a polite reminder to improve your Chinese pronounciation - in Chinese the 'q' doesn't make the /kw/ sound as in 'quick' but makes a /ch/ sound, hence Chongqing is pronounced a bit like chong-'Chin')😊

I am Chinese. The best advice for foreigners coming to China is to find a Chinese college student, Chinese college students are very idle and are recommended to go near any local Chinese university, you don't have to spend a lot of money to get a perfect tour guide. Also just for 10 minutes you can add dozens of friends for free, you will get all the perfect advice and you can ask any question you don't know, otherwise you will always be a traveler and not a real local.

说实话，其实很多外国人队中国人的居住环境有很严重的误解，首先住在农村的不一定很穷，我的叔叔是标准的农民承包了很多地种茶叶，住的环境有点脏乱差，但是他的收入是我的10倍 一般4线以上的城市，穷人基本都有住高楼大厦，我就住在36楼，是政府分配的免费的基础安置房，算上公共面积大概150平，家里有2个孩子，3辆小汽车，我是一名很普通的小区保安，一周只工作3天，剩下的时间，我一般找一点兼职或者钓鱼打牌

You guys should definitely try hot pot. Find a nice place near the river in the night. Try some hot pot(there is non-spicy version), order qingdao bear, and do the egg-fried rice after the hotpot. My college is in Chongqing, and I can tell you that a hot pot with the night view of Chongqing is definitely amazing.
