Fun Fact: In the Cat Game scene, the word "meow" was said 11 times. Gun Enthusiast Fact: The gun seen in the first Winnebago scene was actually a BB gun, you can see the odd pull back cocking mechanism that is used on an old model BB gun. Family Affair Fact: The couple that Farva says "chicken fucker" to are actually Kevin Heffernan's parents. They knew he was going to say something rude, but weren't prepared for the "chicken fucker" line. Movie Magic Fact: In the syrup-chugging scene in the diner, the first few takes were done with the actors drinking thick iced tea from syrup containers, but the iced tea didn't look realistic enough. Real syrup was brought in, and the actors then did several takes in which they actually chugged entire bottles of syrup. These are the takes you see in the close-ups, however, some wide shots with the iced tea were kept in. Broken Lizard Fact: Broken Lizard is an American comedy troupe that comprises Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhanske. They collaborate on the screen-writing, acting and productions of their films, with Chandrasekhar and Heffernan being primarily directors. The team however does not have any single leader and they work collaboratively when choosing material and writing projects. The group formed at Colgate University in 1989.

It’s their worst movie by far. Slammin Salmon and Beerfest are way better, even their standup dvd is better than Club Dread, but it’s still watchable with a few good moments/ideas. It just really sucks compared to the others. Wait, I forgot. Super Troopers 2 is at the very bottom. That was sad.

I love this movie. One night at work, me and another guy were playing the cat game seeing who could say 'meow' the most. Well, about an hour and half into the game our manager fricking lost it. LOL. "One more person says 'meow' and they're getting fired..." , "Ok, sorry. We will stop it right meow." This grown man threw a hissy fit and went back the office for about an hour because we kept saying 'meow'. It was so funny especially since nobody liked the guy who was manager.

The reason Charlie Rich lit John Denver’s award on fire is because the award was for country music. Charlie and several other country musicians were adamant that Denver’s music isn’t country and belongs in some other category, which meant giving a country music award to Denver was actually stealing it from an actual country musician. So it was more a beef with the award process than with Denver himself. But yeah, it’s on KZbin. About as viral a moment as there could be before the internet. Heck it was really even before VCR’s.

I’d say you’re pretty great at knowing actors and placing them in other films or projects they’ve been in. It’s one of my favorite things about your reactions. The opening is just classic. I was like 27y old when watching the movie on DVD back then in Germany, short after the theatratical release. Was visiting my bffe at the moment who was studying at the time and who got an illegal .torrent copy of this movie. We were stoned af and i had no expections, not knowing anything except it was some kind of independent comedy. I've never laughed my a$$ off in my life. Great memories!

My best friends are in the same frat as Mac and Farva and those boys can FUCKIN drink 😂😂😂 this movie brought back so many good memories of skipping school and watching Comedy Central all afternoon. If you like these guys, they did Beerfest too. More of the same kinda shenanigans. That female cop IS pretty dope though. I think the only other thing I saw her in Freddy Got Fingered. Tom Green was coming up around the same time as Jackass on MTV, so similar era, though I'd say Tom Green was more like an early Canadian Eric Andre.
