The concept is good and they're pushing the devices hard on social media, however in Australia it's illegal to obscure your forward view. So unless a different mounting point can be found they're not really legal. Also items must be mounted in such a way that they don't become a hazard during an accident.

Hi mate. New subscriber here, thanks for the review. Nice to hear it from a accent this side of the pond too! I had an Xtrons head unit in my E92 that I ripped out and reverted to stock, audio quality was horrific. I read it's because the retrofit units for the E92 (and E90/93 by extension) don't utilise the fibre optic connectivity that the stock head unit does, rather using auxiliary instead. So I've been looking for one of these I can use alongside the stock head unit. With this connected to the aux port (or even by FM), what does it sound like? Is there any crackling or distortion at all? Or is it decent? Cheers!

It's clear though aux, to get it clear through FM I had fiddle with fm channels to find a clear station

Does the reset button make any difference? I would start by doing a factory reset

Have you tried unplugging at the main harness, so it completely powers down then plug it back in....its not an issue I have come across before 🤷‍♂️

Hello Dave r can you help me ? I can change the themes on eonon q 53 pro but in every theme the weather not shows and the location. How to set up when I click on the widget the weather app open but not work and nothing changed when I refresh in weather app o got this error Network location failed because baidu location service can not calculate the location on the statusbar the weather shows but all themes shows not the weather temp

Do you have your WiFi hotspot connected to the unit?

@@whatsdavedone104 yes gps and wlan are connected both working great when I installed a different weather apps from Playstore store that working too. But the stock weather app is not working and all the themes working with the stock weather app. And deleting the stock app will not work. Can I set the themes app to get the information from a other app? My stock weather app not working well. I don’t know ?
