All re-painted and based as an army. Boxed ones converted to all variants (normal, venerable, Mortis,, Ironclad). By far the biggest work was to print, magnetize and paint 52 arms to them, to get all weapon options! Pleasure to game with. GW dropped many of the weapon options from 9th to 10th. Angry and sad about that.

I'm really enjoying the content even though I don't collect/can't paint/afford w40k at all, your cheerful style and how you show everything off when explaining it makes your videos really fun to watch. When I was dipping my toes into playing back in the day, the fat heavy old dreadnought was the only option we had, so I'm shocked to see how many there are now and how big they got lol. I agree that the idea that they're a walking sarcophagus makes them extra cool. I like the newer designs too but I feel like it betrays the seriousness of the dreadnought backstory a bit.

I hope I can pull it off. I had bought the crow for my Cawdor warband, but I ended up selling all my Necromunda stuff recently as wanted to focus more on 40k, and just didn't have the time to put all the effort into necromunda gangs. I want to do a bike focussed White Scar army, and Custodes army as well, so just don't have the time for all these side projects if I'm going to put my all into my Space Marine armies (also I still would like do a Xenos army at some point. I actually glued my fingers together putting together a metal, chaos dreadnought when I was a kid. I had to go to hospital, it was really bad. They suuuuucked to build. speaking of old minis seeing play, I have a Rogue trader Astropath that's in my current Imperial Guard army. The did is ancient and fugly as they come, but I love it. Guard is actually one army where i love using the older minis. There are some gorgeous old commissars and stuff, and the new ones just aren't nearly as cool. The old metal guardsmen are much cooler then the current plastics, too. When they eventually revamp the guard plastics I'll be re-doing my army, but I'm sure some of my old metals will still see play. They're irreplaceable.

I just picked up my first mini, a redemptor dreadnought. Waiting on the little magnets i ordered to mount the guns but other than that its done being assembled. The posability of that model actually messed me up. I accidentally put too much glue on the hip joints so the legs are stuck too far back (so that if I assembled it as is the dreadnought would be looking almost straight up into the sky like he saw a pretty bird). I had to cut one of the knee joint limiters off and tilt the body on top of the hips forward as far as it would go. So now its mounted on one foot and it looks like its sprinting or lunging at something which turned out to be a happy accident because it looks pretty cool imo. Probably gonna pose the arms like its throwing a big left hook or grabbing for something. Im excited about it.
