Depends on your price point. If money is no issue get a 85 1.2L. An old EF 50 1.8 or 1.2 is good as well.

That’s going to be the r50. There’s only so much they can put into the R100, not only because of the low price but if it has all of the specs, nobody will buy expensive cameras

MENTANG-MENTANG PAKAI FOTO RESMI DAN NAMA ISLAM OTOMATIS DIKIRA INDO di video orang luar. bang, mata kuliah fotografinya kira2 ngapain aja nanti? maksudnya kek genre gitu, apa nanti sekedar foto produk aja? atau harus rekam video? sering travel atau nugas outdoor gak? butuh batre awet gak?. ane pribadi tu diatas nulis T5, itu tuh Rebel T5 yg kalo di indon namanya EOS 1200D, keluaran 2013, harga terjun bebas, 2 jutaan dapet. Kamera R100 tu persis sama 1200D segalarupanya kecuali autofokus, menu, jendela bidik elektronik dan batre. juga harga tentunya, R100 nyentuh 6-7jtan. kalau belum pernah nyentuh kamera, DSLR Canon yg murmer seken ane rekomendasi banget. tapi yg jadi masalah SLR itu sentimen nya jadul, berat. Padahal pilihan lensa lebih banyak dan murah. gini gan, seri mirorrles R nya Canon, termasuk R100 ini lensa nya terbatas hanya di merek Canon aja. gak bisa beli merek lain yang murah. merek canon asli yang murah pada medioker dan jelek (misal RF 24mm, 35mm, pokoknya yang kayak bongkahan bentukannya). di katalog canon, belasan juta lah minimal buat yang klasik kit RF 24-105 f4. saran ane, yang netral, dengan asumsi agan budgetnya bisa beli R100 yang gress. Cari mirorrless Sony A6000 atau A6300 yang seken. kecil, ringan, auto fokus cepet banget, batre lumayan lah tapi gak awet banget (200-300an foto perbatre), pilihan lensa banyak mirip DSLR Canon dan pilihan lensa yang jauh lebih murah banyak (manual fokus TTArtisan, 7Artisan, Laowa, Samyang dll ratusan rebu coy). kekurangannya mungkin warna hasil foto format JPG harus agak diulik, sering kehijauan. kalau budget dibawah itu macam 2-3 jt tapi tetep pengen mirrorless, coba lirik seri Canon M/EF-M. Canon M200/M100 enak tuh, video foto lancar, AF bagus, kecil imut. atau M5 yang ada jendela bidik dan layar bisa diputer ala vlogger. ada pilihan lensa murah banget tapi manual fokus (TTArtisan, 7Artisans) mau nyoba Fujifilm? X-A2/X-A3 bagus tuh. mungil juga mirip M100/M200. Warna hasil fuji mah mantep lah cem retro ala roll film dulu. kekurangannya sih autofokus agak kurang cepet. fuji juga punya opsi yang sama buat lensa manual fokus yang murah dari dua merek yg ane sebut diatas.

@@reynardsetiawanz8778 kalau kekeuh pengen ke canon R series. ada yang bagus, tapi modal di awal harus kuat. Belinya R50+EF to RF AF Lens Adapter. si adapter ini ente bisa cari2 dulu lah videonya, banyak kok yang review dan ada 3 jenis (ambil yg murah aja wkwkwk). pake adapter ini nanti bisa pasang lensa DSLR nya Canon, mau yang EF full frame (macam lensa sejuta umat EF 50mm 1.8, atau lensa zoom tele EF 100-300 USM) yang harganya jauh lebih murah dibanding lensa asli RF. R50, layar udah bisa diputer cem vlogger, batre lumayan awet di angka 300an foto perbatrai, touchscreen (eh iya R100 gak touchscreen ya, kalau gak biasa klik tombol cem generasi tua kek ane susah tuh), sama ukuran pas digenggam alias agak besar dibanding R100 tapi masih relatif ringkas. kalau harus jujur R50 itu plek ketiplek EOS M50 keluaran agak lama, cuman ganti body dan mulut lensa. Nikon boleh tapi maaf ane kurang familiar. Panasonic Lumix, yg spesialisasi video, ane cukup familiar tapi kurang cocok buat yang belajar dari awal kecuali berniat jadi videografer (Lumix juga banyak yang murah dan lensa murah manual juga ada di TTArtisan+7Artisans, ringan2 juga lagi kameranya). Berhubung ente ketemu ane di alam bahasa inggris, ane asumsikan ente liatin review bahasa inggris. percaya deh, beda alam coy, susah kalau ikut update mereka mah. TAPI buat review barang-barang agak lawas macam lensa DSLR mereka jauh lebih komplit. Christopher Frost, Ken Rockwell, Dustin Abbott sama Tony & Chelsea Northrup. Barang baru jadi seken dari 4-5 tahun kebelakang di kita, kurleb 7-8 tahun kebelakang buat mereka di amrik sama eropa.

If your thinking r50 then just buy a eos RP instead as the used RP bodies are going for 500-700usd. R100 is decent but the controls are honestly limiting. Its decent for stills but it's definitely a budget camera.

Just pick up a old M5 or M50ii with an EF adapter or move up to the r50 or r10. The r100 is limiting. Tried one out and wasn't impressed. The af tracking is solid and image quality is about the same as my m5 but its lack of controls is off putting. I would pick one up if you can get it for sub 300 but otherwise its a pass.
