Dude that toy section at the end of the video straight took me back to my childhood in Japan 1985-1990. Me and my brother had so many of those little slot car things. Can’t even remember what we called them. Hella RC stuff too. Keep the Japan content coming. Doesn’t even need to be car related. Love it!

For the future (and everyone else needing to do the car registration step): for the rear license plate seal, just take a Phillips screwdriver and puncture the top seal. They’ll give you a new one when they put it on for you 🤙🏼

The end of this video brought me back so many memories! Back in the day when I was a kid I used to race with those 'Bakusou Kyoudai Let's & Go!!' cars with my friends on school but instead of using race tracks we would race on water drainage channels (not sure if that is the proper term). Congrats on your move and keep up with the great work!

I also bought that exact Tomica Initial D Volume 1 set back in 2018 during my Study Abroad in Osaka, Japan. Found it at my local book-off and it was only 400 Yen. Which I thought it was insane for that price and even at 4000 yen that's an absolute steal. Almost impossible to find them anymore as I've been trying to purchase the other volumes too.

Congrats. I binge watched a lot of your videos over the last couple weeks. Great stuff. If you're going to downsize your collection in America now is definitely the time to do so before the car bubble deflates. One of the big annoyances in Japan is definitely the mountains of paper work required to complete for most things and the red tape. You still have to fax some things over there.

17:08 that's tamiya race tracks and 17:18 that's a tamiya 4wd mini chassi and box on the right side is like a gundam.. u can build it to be more faster, cooler. etc....17:38 that was a prebuilt tamiya 4wd mini... it's kinda like selling a project car... but anyways if you wanna get into a hobby it's not to late. many youtubers create contents for this kinda stuff.... and i promise u, u will not be dissapointed building a tamiya 4wd mini.
