Seeing your review of the Eovolt Afternoon Vintage has really inspired me, so I have ordered one. The one nagging doubt in my mind is at 84 should I be doing this. But your video is a wonderful I’m sure it’s what I should do.

Fantastic to hear Stuart. My father is 82 and it has opened up some lovely days out for him riding the waterways of northern England and stopping for coffee and cake along the way.

£2000+ is a lot of money, my current regular bike cost me £600 and that was the most I'd ever spent on a bike before but I am tempted by the ebike and I like the look of these Afternoon ones very much. I wonder do you ever have sales or is £2199 always the price?

The Afternoon is our best selling model. Our retailers occasionally do a better price. Guess you dont get if you dont ask....

I tested one last week and I liked it very much. One very good thing is that you can move it like a trolly when folded.

Lovely, needs more trees round there, love from a lancashire lass now up in Scotland. I want to bring my old 15kg terrier with me and this looks just the bike

Usually always wear one but didnt pack it and had to go ahead with filming on the day. I wear a helmet in all the other ride videos.

Nice video! Would you recommend this afternoon 20" over the Morning 16"?. I'm looking in to get one of this bikes, but I'm not sure what model to get. I need one that it easy to store and don't take up to much space.

16" just for smaller journeys staying on tarmac. 20" can do that but also go further and go onto off road surfaces as demonstrated in the video. Thanks for the comment..

We initially got one 16" and one 20", but when riding them side by side, we found the Morning, even though it was a neat size when folded, just had much too much rolling resistance compared to the larger one, and the person riding it had trouble keeping up, so we took it back and swapped it for a second Afternoon. (It maybe that there was something wrong with ours.). Very pleased with the Afternoons.

Hi, what about the alim cable hanging out under the bike? Are you serious? Do you still think it's usable with this cable hanging out from below? Craps.

Yes its fine, never causes an issue. On the new Pro bikes there is a magnetic connector on the top of the bike...

Hello there. After driving 2000 km in a year, I can say that the Eovolt Afternoon 2023 has a very bad Nutt brake system. In addition, I had problems with the gear shifter. I changed the gear shifter and the brake system from the manufacturer Shimano is being installed.

All bikes now come with Shimano MT-200 hydraulic disc brakes

How many miles did you get out of a battery charge with the hills and off road bits on the ride?

Just over 40 miles, had very low battery at the end
