Mr Saady , how does the client QS plays role in Contract preparation. Does client have to prepare separate Contract?

Typical the QS role is often divided into 2 functions, Pre and Post Contract. Pre-contract-preparing all contract documents leading up to signing of the contract and post-contract-administering all contract documents according to the contract agreement leading up to the closing of the project. However, depending on who the QS is working for, these functions might be specialized or just limited. By following our series, you will come to discover that we tackle the programme from the client's Qs perspective. We hope to evolve to other QS's in the future. Also, it is possible to have more than one Qs on a particular project because of different stakeholders. The Client, who is the Main stakeholder, may have his Qs, the contractor could have his own Qs, likewise the Consultants and the subcontractors too. Each of these QSs may have the same roles but perform different functions but ultimately only one set of contract documents will be agree upon for the project, regardless of if the client's Qs or any other Qs prepared it.
