I was 11 years old staying at my uncle’s place on Deep Creek Lake in Maryland. One of his friends drove a 6 cylinder Chris Craft wide open past our dock. Still remember the growl of that motor and the shiny wood. That was 61 years ago. I was hooked on wooden speed boats from then on. Thanks for this tremendous video.

Most old wooden boats are well cared for until they are handed over to the next generation of custodians. This process continues the heritage, and also keeps the knowledge and skills of boat building alive. Without doubt, the world is a nicer place with these wooden wonders on the water! 😉

I'm a Chris Craft man @ 68 yrs of age. There's a CC in a barn in Danville, Indiana that is huge,my only problem is I cannot remember how to get back there & the friend I went with passed away,I'm 99.9% sure it's still there, I keep driving around...I will find it , I hope I do anyway

I get it that you are interviewing people, but while you are talking, could you show more of the boats?

Love these videos. This one seems to indicate a move toward being advertisements. Not sure I’m looking forward to that.
