Joshua & Ryan discuss the things people hold on to, the things people let go of, and the things that may or may not add value to our lives. Watch “Maximal” episodes of The Minimalists Private Podcast exclusively at / theminimalists
Questions answered in this episode:
If my family and I are moving into a fully furnished house for the next year, should we sell everything or should we place it in storage?
As a divorce lawyer, how can I help clients realign their values so they don’t fight over the division of their things?
How do I minimize the paper clutter that results from all the documentation that my job requires?

I absolutely LOVE your message and I'm totally on board. I've read and watched everything to do with organising and decluttering over the past 20yrs. I have to say that Minimalism resonates with me over and above everything else I've tried. My "offical" packing party starts on Tuesday with my daughter. You guys are super motivating. Thank you so much.

Great advice to sell unwanted items online. I am currently in school for the third time, not working, and selling items online. While I don't make a ton of money, I make just enough to cover the cost of groceries every week (more or less). Writing from Cambridge, Ontario.

This was a great podcast. I especially liked the info on adults dividing important things, and discovering about yourself if its a power struggle or is it something you really value and want. Also, Joshua, I tried the smoothie (I had no avocado handy though). Taste is fine to me, but texture... well... I had to add more water so it was less pulpy. ha ha. I plan to enjoy this smoothie more regular as I take better care of my health. Thanks to you both for your regular and sincere podcasts full of quality content. I also enjoy hearing your personalities shine through in the relaxed banter between the two of you. Been a fan since 2012! Cassie
