Hi, I'm Carol, I'm from Brazil. You guys really helped me let go of stuff that was just sitting there, that made no difference in my life whatsoever. When my mom passed away, we ended up bringing lots of her stuff back home and I realized we never used them... Last month, I decided to do a yard sale and it was a big success! I felt so happy and I managed to pay off my credit card! Woohoo! Your movie has inspired me so much and now I don't even feel like buying things... If I need something, I ask myself if I'm really gonna use it and if it's gonna last. It's a completely different perspective in life! I'm so much lighter and free! I don't feel anxious anymore, because I don't have to worry about things, bills or if I'll have to work extra hours in order to make more money to pay for more stuff! It's a big relief! I finally have free time to enjoy my kid! I'm a teacher and whenever I can, I play your movie in my classes! Everybody gets inspired! (Okay, almost everybody heheheheh) and some of my students have read your books online! Big inspiration here in Brazil! Thanks, guys! Cheers!

I wish I could click the like button more than once. You've changed my life when I first found out about you guys a couple of years ago. This is the first time I'm listening to your podcasts. It was fantastic. Thank you for being a source of positive change. I wish you guys all the best.

To deal with mental clutter, I find that writing everything down helps immensely. I obviously can't write as fast as I think, so it forces my brain to slow down and I write the basics of the ideas/thoughts/feelings I'm having and when I see it on paper, it all seems more simple than it was in my head. If that makes sense! I don't always remember to do it, though, when I'm anxious and thoughts are racing. I need to try meditating on a regular basis! Thank you for this podcast - I certainly needed it!!!

The Calm app has been a saving grace for me! I have anxiety and some claustrophobia, and have been stuck on broken down trains and the Calm app got me through some rough moments. It's worth every penny for the subscription which I think was $40 a year. Better price than a therapist LOL

So happy Ryan recommended a therapist to Sara who had said she had past trauma and anxiety. When I first heard her message I was like please tell her to see a therapist and was a little disappointed with Josh’s answer, but Ryan saved it!

So far, all I am able to pull off is MENTAL minimalism (I’m married to a pack rat and we have 21 kids and grands that love to come visit us-OFTEN). SO I can only do this in my mind. Right now, I am sitting out back of our house (we live in a wonderful huge place in the middle of a national forest on a creek). I’m wearing all white linen and sipping on my tea, looking at my banana trees pretending I am minimalist living in a rain forest. Hey! It works to some degree.

So much of what all you zen like guys talk about is straight out of Jesus. Nothing new at all. “Set aside what so easily besets you.” Paul. Let go of us forgiveness. Guilt. I forgive your sins if you accept my sacrifice and believe in me. “Keep mind stayed on me and I will give you perfect peace.” Isaiah 26.
