Quick food tip for the beginners: 1. Get a cheap knife from your local blacksmith 2. Spot a bird 3. Throw a knife at it (from inventory window) 4. On 4-5 try you'll get it 5. Pluck it, sometimes it will give a decent chunk of meat, not a lil one 6. Get 4 sticks and make a campfire through craft menu (0 on your hotbar) 7. Get another stick and 2 mushrooms 8. Cook yourself a nice meat on stick by picking the recipe from a list U can do it with rabbits and hedgehogs too, just don't forget to skin it (you'll need to drag a first skill from "Survival" tree on your hotbar and a blade of any kind, like your thrown knife)

Awesome! I hope you enjoy the series, it's been really fun! Spear was my first melee build I did. It makes it easier to learn the melee mechanics and keep enemies at a distance for fights! I hope you enjoy your much needed break =D

At 22:28 was that a shallow grave or something you passed in the forest as you were walking past the southern edge of that map square? Just after the bear territory? I'd have to bring a shovel back to investigate! 😂

yeah it is! Just like graves at cemeteries, you can dig it up with shovels, but you can also dig it up with you hands (just takes a long time) it can also dmg your hands/gloves so I take them off before I start hand digging. I feel like the ones out in the middle of no where sometimes have decent stuff, but it'll affect you morale and sanity negatively

they are fun but I think there's a learning curve with it too. The first successful build I did was geomancy, which was hella fun, esp back when all doorways were 1 tile and could be blocked with a stone easily. After that I did a lance build because I heard that was the easiest melee build to do. I think 2H are fun but easier to get your butt kicked too, more glass cannon =\

Welcome, friend! I usually do daily BB but Stone Shard just came out with a BIG update. It's a hard turn based RPG that has a lot of freedom! The dev is a little slow because it's a small team of Ukrainian and Russians (The war is affecting them) but the gameplay and artwork are AMAZING!

I believe it's alt and click? It's weird, when I'm playing I just do it automatically and now I can't think of it. there is alt click and shift click and control click. I think alt click uses the item, shift click transfers and control click throws it out of the inv but test it out cuz I might have mixed them up >.>

yeah I 100% understand that. I just hope you're not waiting years to get it! Especially as the introduce the rest of the skill trees, they will definitely need it. I wonder, however, how easy it'd be to pseudo make you're own character with a safe file editor or something to that affect?

​@@Absurdum22 yeah, I had my eye on the game for a while and never got it cause a lot of people were saying the devs had abandoned it (versus the correct people saying it was just taking a while because of the war) but just got the game over Christmas as the new update came out and I gotta say, it has a LOT to get your head around as a new player. It has tons of potential and I hope they keep developing it into the game it could become, but I'm glad I'm getting into it now and learning the game before it gets even more complex. The lack of character creator is a bummer, particularly if none of the presets appeal to you, but I have to admit the current characters are all pretty good, I'd be surprised if there isn't something there for people to enjoy. .

With what "built" can you kill a bear on level 1??? I did not know that was even possible. Also, my first 4 to 5 points go all into perception. +1,5% hitchance and +1 vision range at 15 perception is too good not to rush. if you cant see or hit things its bad. thats why 15 in perception is a must regardless of character and weapons of choice. and it helps in unlocking almost all skills. After that it depends on your playstyle. I no longer eat berries. its an old habit that actually died quick when i saw how incredibly nerfed they became. now berries are my easy money maker 1 berry turns into 4 fodder. and fodder stacks a lot (100 i believe) and costs only 2 slots in the inventory space. plants are better sold to the herbalist than turned into fodder when it comes to the money value.

There's a couple different strats I've seen with the bear from traps to bee bottles to whatever. I dragged it into town and beat the crap out of it while it ripped apart towns ppl lolol reddit said that you can't do that anymore it got patched out =\ Yeah perception is kinda a must, even ranged spells use it for accuracy. Berries have gotten really nerfed I could see fodder being a better option now.

Can anyone please help? I have downloaded mods for BB. I moved those to the data folder. But the swifter mod does not seem to be working in conjunction with the others. Is there a fix for this?

hmm it might be missing one of the support mods it needs, also I think there are 2 very similar mods on nexus and one works for me and the other doesn't (swifter is the one I use tho) have you watched my vid on installing mods?

You call this a better movement speed?? xD i cant even fathom what it was before then. For me it is still a major negative factor, slow-tedious movement, tedious food management(to fast hunger) and no freedom to create effective but not meta standard builds.

Ok well maybe I just remember the movement being slower lol. But I can absolutely see why ppl mod it for faster movement. Tbh I think it needs a system like cdda where you can click on the map and have your character auto move there and stop if danger happens The hunger system is annoying at times but it doesn't bother me much. For me, it helps with character immersion. Tbh I think the game needs more options for things, like save systems and turning off hunger and fatigue so ppl can play how they like. I think character customization is also past due. That'd help make builds more fun. Hopefully with time we get all this. Either way thanks for watching

Effective not meta build? I dont understand, what kind of build you want create, because a think probably it was skill issue
