Even with the lost footage, all said and done, You still got to ride one of your dream bikes. All that matters in the end is that the adventure really did happen!

I enjoy the voice over and the drop ins by Future Ang! I prefer listening to you while watching the scenery over just the music. I love the trivia about the places you are riding, your bike, equipment and gear. I thoroughly enjoyed your video from hell! So sorry you lost the footage, but it just made me feel like I was part of the adventure! Keep adventuring and taking us all with you. Thanks you!

“The joy is in the journey”.. After telling you about Guzzi I am so glad you were able to ride one.. I tell people it is the Ferrari of motorcycles.. Went to a Harley bike show once and as I was leaving, jaws dropped when I took off and opened her up., Practice a little forgiveness to yourself as what happened to the video happened.. Looking forward to next video.,

I have created a big loop on Gaia, starting near the Rich Mountain Fire Tower near Hot Springs, then into the Max Patch area, winding over to Martha Sundquist, and meandering back home. Hopefully I’ll be able to try it out soon, last test ride off this loop ended post was due to a small crash….

I went to the Guzzi dealer in Marietta, GA. today and swung my leg over a couple different models. They seem more like touring bikes vs adventure bikes. Also visited a Ducati dealer. The Ducati adventure bikes are bad azz.

Angelo, I checked into this bike and it is one of the best adventure bikes for shorter riders. It has allot of pluses and comes exceptionally well equipped. Even the seat is great... A$$ is in love! The biggest drawback I saw was the fact that it is air cooled and the cylinder heads are right in front of your legs. Did you experience excess heat on your legs during your test ride? There might be a way around that. Mounting some small unobtrusive wind deflectors just behind the cylinder heads and in front of your knees, might be all it takes to relieve this issue on hot days. That and the fact that it's only a light duty trail bike. Gnarly trails won't make good bedfellows with this bike. But for general touring and light trails, this is excellent. Gord

I love the v85. I didn't have any trouble with the heat - but it was pretty damn cold on this ride... wish it was a good bit lighter!

@@SomeGuyRides As long as it doesn't break. Getting parts can be a real nightmare and ruin a whole trip planned months in advance. When you get one, put lots of miles on it and work out any bugs before doing a long tour. Stick to light adventure trails unless traveling with someone else. Picking up this bike will make the Himalayan seem like a piece of cake. It's around 50 lbs heavier than it really should be. On the positive side of that, it is extremely stable on the highways at speed... flipping Caddie! A recently saw a video of a Brit taking it out on the trails. When he got into soft dirt he ended up almost bottoming out the rear tire trying to get out... as the rear tire spun a rut. Getting off the bike and lightly using the clutch and throttle and gently help push the bike out of the rut. Other than the quirky handlebar controls, it is a very nice ride. My preference for touring is the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT. It is lighter than the Moto Guzzi and has a lower seat by a whole inch. Comes with everything but the top box. For trail riding, I'm a small frame, and don't want to do heavy lifting. Gord
