1:50, actually Chandragupta did have royal ancestors, as Piplivan(An alliance of Shishunaga dynasty), when got annexed by Dhanadhand, the child of the king was secretly preserved and the nameof that child was ' Chandragupta Maurya' (according to some Jain Texts)

@@kritisaxena3590 Hi! We are not school teachers but making this out of our own interest in History. We are studying the primary sources for this history plus some old literature. This primarily includes Mahavamsa, Mudrarakshasa, Asokavadana, Megasthenes' Indica, Kautilya's Arthashastra and edicts of Ashoka. For the 6 episodes of the series, we have referred all these materials. For upcoming videos, we are studying similar ancient documents, archaeological evidence and literature like Puranas.

Which was a story book cants prefer more for his caste, therefore historians isn't accept this. Most old evidence that maurya are from kshatriya was mahavamsha (pali) and ashokashilakeh. These are much oldest evidence than mudra.... . Fact -only mudra.. Claimed maurya as a shudra. Hence maurya are kshatriya, today in Rajasthan mori rajputs are there
