Michael card???!!!!! Oh my gosh! It's been years since I've seen him! I use to take my boys, who are now 40 and 38yo, to see him in concert in the 1980's. Loved his music! I must re-acquaint myself with him again. It's been to long.

Michael Card! I first came upon his music in the '80's I believe. I saw him in concert at Whitworth College in Spokane. I bought one of his books afterward. My friends and I were walking around the auditorium back to our card and who was getting on his tour bus??? MICHAEL CARD!!!!! I acted like a star struck little school girl and have kicked myself every since! I asked him to autograph my book, which he graciously did. I'll never forget (or live it down). Thank you for this wonderful podcast and showing us just a shred of Michael's biblical wisdom and knowledge. Wish I could have taken one of his tours of Israel. I love how you 2 and the guests you bring on are so passionate about God! I am drawn to people like that, like a moth to a flame! God bless you richly!

This is an awesome interview. I’m about the same age as Michael and started listening to his music as contemporary Christian music was just beginning and have always been blown away by the depths of his lyrics. He is truly a gifted teacher and has always made me hunger for understanding the Word through a Jewish perspective. Attending one of his concerts made you feel you as though you had just taken a college level course. He is the ultimate singer/songwriter/theologian.

Wow! Thank was awesome! We met Mike at SandyCove Ministries summer family camp. We were blessed to experience his teaching and music a few times. ❤ Aaron I laughed when you talked about your dog eating the Bible. We had a beagle who ate three Bibles in our house. I was in Israel 1993; on tour and have tiny tiny sea shells gathered on the shore of the Galilee. They have remained in a small old metal tobacco container bought in Yerushalayim, on my coffee table. Precious to me with leaves and stones collected over years….

Yeshua was born at The Tower Of The Flock. This is an old army tower At the edge of bethlehem. You can google Jesus and Tower of The Flock. This is where the levites kept the morning and evening oblation, The sacrificial lambs. This place was considered a holy place. It was physically clean and spiritually clean. When the baby lambs were born they would wrap the ones that were perfect in swaddling cloth ie the shredded garments from the the priests to keep them from getting spot or wrinkle. The priestly garments were not thrown away when they were soiled.They were shredded used for candle wicks and for swaddling cloth for the baby lambs. This place was meticulously kept. All this being said, Yeshua was born in the fall at the beginning of Sukkot. And there's a way to trace that back to Zacharias but the shepherds were out in the field, If the ewes were giving birth then the tower would have been filled with priests and sheep, no room for Joseph & Mary. You have The Lamb Of God, born in the sheep fold of the sacrificial sheep, wrapped in priestly garments, The light of the world wearing what was used to like the wicks. Totally awesome!!
