Love that Marty‼️ I just taught Hanukkah to a small group Bible study and they were blown away‼️ They're buying Hanukkiahs❣️👍🏼 And as far as I know my husband and I are not Jewish but we're all about Yeshuah and what HE celebrates‼️

When I was thinking about the "rededication of the temple," I thought about how our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). It's a great time of year for us to think about rededicating our lives to God. 🕎🕊️🙌

We're adopted as sons and daughters! God declared several times in Exodus and Leviticus that these are His Feasts! Therefore as sons and daughters of Abraham we would all celebrate God's Feasts‼️ As non- Jews (1 tribe) our family has celebrated all God's Feasts for over 20 years and they get richer every day‼️❣️

I keep a candle-holder Nativity trio that up all year (His Light and Miracle is celebrated all year here) AND, when younger, my mom limited my Christmas carol singing to between Thanksgiving and New Years! (p.s. I can and do sing them all year now!!!) Thank you for discussing Marty's song; just last night, 'I' remembered that I NEED to rededicate myself after the junk I've been going through and this song says it all and soars!!! (I'm going to memorize it, now, to sing all year!) This was a God led time with you guys today. Thank you for sending this to me and great seeing you again, Joshua!!!💙🕎

Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that we are in a similar situation? After all, there are (officially registered) about 360 million persecuted 'Christians' worldwide. Might the reason for this be the same? Epheser 6:12-18 HFA So I think it is good and right for us to worship together and courage and comfort each other and prepare the way for our common LORD and GOD as ONE as it is His will, who, according to prophecy, will come again at the end of the hardest times in Israel for all people to see

First to the Jews, then to the Gentiles. First to Israel, then to the Nations. All Gentiles are "grafted-in" to Israel spiritually. Adopted into G-d's family. ✝️ 🕎🕯🕯 Yeshua/Jesus was a Torah observent Jew, therefore, as a grafted in believer in the God of Israel, we get to celebrate what He did. 💕✝️ 🇺🇲 💕🇮🇱

Very inspiring. One comment about something said towards the end. If you were raised in the Roman Catholic Church, and then are born again, Spirit filled, and then learn the TRUTH of being grafted in, you come to KNOW and UNDERSTAND, that the Christian god propagated for almost 1800 years by the Catholic Church, presented a god who turned against His own laws. The Catholic Church changed God's laws and commandments and to me this is very serious. And the Protestant Reformation did nothing to replace God's laws. Therefore, NO, the god of christianity is a mixed god, who turns against His own laws and commandments, and therefore can not be the same God of the TORAH.

I have the same question like Aaron Shust, “can we be in the same family?” God consider us as family but not all Jews Consider us as families. I know it when I asked for prayers for Persecuted Christians under attacks from Muslim, they would not have much response at all. So now crazy people who are against Israel and helping Muslim would go as far as Jesus is Muslim now. They would force Christians to live like Muslim instead of anything close to the Jews.

I've decided to give up Christmas, many Gentiles would say it's a Christian tradition. However, for me personally, there are too many pagan ties, plus the Roman Catholic church had a major hand in creating Christmas and I rarely agree with anything Catholic. I enjoy marking hanukkah, but not as a replacement for Christmas, I fully recognize that it's a Jewish custom. I do it to show my support for Israel and the Jewish people, and celebrate a holiday that Yeshua most likely celebrated!! I also observe the 7 major biblical feasts/festivals which has brought so much joy to my life!!
@noir.1448 күн бұрын
When I found about Christmas, I was against it. I found about the feasts and began to believe that Jesus was born during Sukkot. This month I got the idea to count 9 months back and landed on December. A few years back when I was against Christmas, Jesus wished me a Merry Christmas. I was offended but I understood what He was trying to say. He was trying to tell me to stop being so religious. So now Christmas is when the Father of Lights gave Light to the world but also the time when the enemy tried to snuff out the light.

What you are saying is because the God’s son’s birthday is maligned by some people that you decided to never even to celebrate his birthday. Imagine an orphan boy or girl who comes to this world and those adopted him said to him or her because we do not know your real birthday, we will never celebrate your birthday. Jesus Christ comes to be the Saviour of this world is to be the One for these orphans of the world to let them know they matters, their lives matters, celebrate Hanukkah 🕎 all you want. Celebrating Christmas for many in this world to your ignorance does not even involved chopping down a tree only to decorate it. They just want to be with their families for a warm meal and sing chorals to the Lord and honour Him as our Messiah and Saviour.
@noir.1446 күн бұрын
@@lucialindeboom1382 It's not just about the trees. Rome doesn't even hide the fact that it mixed sun god worship with Christianity. They converted pagan sun dial temples (now dedicated to Mary and Peter) to indicate when you should celebrate the Christian celebrations. The Basilica also indicates day to celebrate and honor Jupiter too (Sept 4). It highlights the arch doorway to show divinity in the same way the halo is depicted over Jesus' head in many Catholic images. Hanukkah is a direct confrontation to sun god worship and the solar calendar. I also believe it's the time Herod killed many babies hoping to kill Jesus who was little more than 1 year old when caravans of the wiseman finally arrived from the east. If Christmas and Hannukkah means that you are celebrating Him with your family, I think God will look at your heart. You should just know there are reasons why someone will choose not to celebrate they way you do or on the days that you do.

I don't know if it's evil, but I certainly have no reason to watch it! Stopped watching movies ~30 years ago. I make an exception for "It Happened One Night," the story of Esther at Purim. And after much nudging, I did see "Heaven Is For Real." And then I read the book. I much rather enjoy reading The Passion Translation of the Bible. Christmas is you decided to celebrate the birthday of our Lord. God is omnipresent, who can truly fix a day for his first existence? Jesus Christ comes to this human world that Him created and be among us like fellow human, and you all just want to deprive him of one day of celebration as the human he came to be? There are so many of us do not care anymore or at all about mistletoe or gifts. But we just want to sing carols to the Lord and telling Him Happy Birthday! Jews have Mitzvah, or even Bar Mitzvah, why? If you so against brithday celebrations of our God coming to be human beings.
