This is a very good micro apartment. I like the wood floor and ceiling, and even the brick wallpaper makes the room look warm and home-like. It's great that this place is within five minutes of so many amenities. The little kitchen nook is nice, too. These are all plus points. On the negative side: there is no shoe closet; there is no shelf storage in the toilet room; the kitchen lacks shelf storage. What did Spiderman think of this place?

This one looked like it had a lot of potential but as soon as you tried to place furniture you realize it’s a bit awkward and limited with what’s actually possible. I love the miniature furniture for planning layouts, so cool! Thanks again, Usui!

I think this is a good alternative to the previous micro apartment with loft if you don't like the stairs! A small shoe cabinet could be put to the side of the entrance perpendicular to the window to delineate the entrance from the rest/bed area, and a loft bed would be a good addition to give you more space for a desk and chair. The (mini) fridge could be placed along the wall beside the shower room and would give quick and easy access from the kitchen and the living/sleeping area. The washing machine behind the kitchen could also serve as extra counter space for food preparation! I personally think the laundry/kitchen area is the best in this apartment out of all that you've shown so far. If there was a way they could have allowed access to the shower from the toilet room, it would have freed up more wall space to perhaps place a small couch where you could sit and relax too, but that's beside the point. That little angled corner could also be a small nook where you could place some small furniture to make the place even more homey than it already is. I love the ceiling and the brick wallpaper, plus the 3 windows in this micro apartment make this place really bright and inviting! I'd say go for it! Actually, I just realised that there is no closet space, so perhaps you could get some low cabinets to sit along the wall below the window to have some storage for clothes and other items, perhaps even a taller cabinet under the loft bed beside your desk if you require. Overall I think this is a great apartment with a really good vibe, much as i like loft style apartments! I'd say play around some more with the mini furniture and see if the layout works for you. This is a really good apartment! Another alternative would be to have the fridge along the wall beside the window, next to your loft bed, and then some slim profile low cabinets along the wall beside the shower room, and maybe below the window for storage?

I imagine a narrow, maybe folding table/counter next to the kitchen nook (by the shower room, but not blocking it). The fridge, at least the mini one, can go by the big window. The loft bed and the work station will remain as you depicted them, by the "brick" wall. This apartment is fun-shaped, but scores more points for the enclosed separated spaces for toilet and shower! I would put another point for the windows on both sides. It might help with temperature and breeze, but I am not sure if it works in the climate this building is, and if the outside is noisy.

I like this one the most so far. Could you ask the landlord if it's okay to install some shelves?at least in the toilet room, as it's a waste of vertical space to not have anything up there!

Forget a washer / dryer and commit to doing laundry at a laundromat. In the space where a washer would have gone, a small refrigerator (as tall as will fit in that space), with a shelf on top for additional room to prepare and store food. I like the loft bed and work space... on the window-side wall, a long, shallow countertop for storage underneath and work space on top.

Another great vdo Usui-san❤❤❤ This apartment is not bad with its kitchen nook, separate toilet & shower, and windows. Bunk bed with working desk underneath will work great. A small fridge can be accommodated, not large one, so it won't cover the window. But its lack of storage space is a minus point. Delicious food btw😋 as for the miniatures, do you make them? If you do, like to see a glimpse of the process

Not sure that it’s better than the place you have now, or not. It looks nice, although smaller toilet and shower space, but the living area is spacious. I wonder if you can put a mini fridge on top of the washer? You’d need a board or something between them, but, maybe? I like the idea of the loft bed. Makes the living area much bigger. 👍 When I lived in the dorms at university, we had a loft for our beds, which gave us so much more living space under it.

To be honest, I liked the last apartment the most. And when you plan to get a bunk bed for this apartment, you can also take the last one. But I hope for you that you can find one without an elevated bed, so that you don't have to be afraid of the height.

I love how when you enter, the living space looks spacious. And, I love the miniatures! I think you should invest in a loft bed, too. It would be a great way to add more space... without taking away any space. 😉

I second a loft bed. A friend of mine got one for his daughter once she was older and starting elementary school. Needed a desk in a smaller room. He put the desk under it, and she sleeps above it. Gives her much more space to play in room.

This apartment isn't bad. It would be a tight area once you put in the refrigerator. There isn't any storage space. The shower and the toilet area are very small. I would still keep looking though.

I like the feeling of this apartment. With the location of the windows, it should have good ventilation. Use of the space would take some time to figure out. Rent, I think, should be a bit lower. But its location to amenities may make the rent reasonable.

Hi, Your apartment is better for the price. You can use that bed in your apartment and put a small fridge and storage unit under it. We move from a big house to a smaller place. It’s better to maintain and keep organized 😊.

I think this one is amazing! If you place like how it's shown at 6:35, you can have a small fridge, some extra storage and even decors next to your desk. For the rest of the space opposite to your loft bed/desk, you can even decorate it as a little gym or do yoga, invite friend to play switch! But I'll buy a loft bed system with more sturdy stairs even if it's more expensive. You can sell it later anyway if you move in the future however climbing a thin ladder is a pain at night. lol

In the toilet is enough space to pt a kind of shelf behind/over the toilet for storage and with a bunk bed or a bed that is maybe up to 1.5 m high and has storage and foldable tables, you might have enough space for your stuf and a place to work... I still would take the place with the loft + window and the stairs with storage, because it has a kitchinette and a bathroom sink and space for laundry and a small fridge, but when you are uncomfortable about the loft, your current apartment is still the best.

If you go with the raised bed with the desk below below the window you could put a small dorm size fridge that is big enough to hold bottles and small freezer. You could add a small microwave sitting on top. If you don’t eat every night. The toilet room you could get a small 3 tier shelf that is slim with wheels to fit next to the fridge hold all paper and other supplies. Get a couple of plastic shelf’s for cabinets below sink. For other items. For folded clothes but is the cost in your budget ?

I like that the toilet and shower have doors. A small fridge would fit under the window. The bed would be good over the desk. One downfall, storage. Are you allowed some sort of shelving installed?

I like it a lot actually just find Linda inconvenient the heatwater there. And that the kitchen doesn't have a place like to cut whatever you cook but besides that really saw how a living will be possible in the space and look bigger an comfortable than other apartments that look like big bathrooms or hallways .❤ Great video as always and by the way why these micro apartments don't have balconies? I have seen even 8square meters apartments that has a least a little one. 5:41 "How will you install the furniture?" Due to the floor plan of this apartment, there are several limitations when it comes to furnishing this place. It is not advisable to put anything by the entrance to the narrow corridor where the kitchen and laundry are located. It is also not preferable to put anything near that place that may block the window as well, because, obviously, that will limit the flow of natural light into the room. A bunk bed makes efficient use of the space, but I don't think you have to settle for a bunk bed. You can put a real bed at where you put the bunk bed in the video - preferrably the kind of bed with storage drawers, because there is no storage space in this apartment. There is space on the left for a medium size desk. Then, you can put a compact sofa under the window. A compact sofa won't block with the entrance or the window, giving you free passage to the kitchen-laundry area, as well as the ability to open the window to let natural light into the room and look at the sky. I noticed that to the left of the window, there is an electrical outlet too. You can put the refrigerator there. That was my idea. I hope that you had figured out how to furnish the apartment to your comfort and liking.

Absolutely fell in love with the type of content you put out. While watching, it just brings out my creativity on how to make it a livable space while also having all the essentials. I'm honestly getting a lot of cozy vibes on this one. I like that it's well lit, you have good ventilation for the kitchen and living area and of course the toilet has a room for itself! Totally agree with you on the loft bed as it saves space. You can still maybe fit a desk, a small refrigerator, washing machine and maybe a drawer cabinet next to the shower room for clothes and more storage

This one is pretty good You can’t see the kitchen from the doorway. And all the utilities are tucked nicely away. Cute entrance. You can add things that you need for shoes. The shower is big enough to add a small collapsible tank if you want to bathe. I don’t really like the wooden siege door blocking the toilet, and it adds yet another texture to the room. (hide the toilet paper behind the toilet as this room isn’t shared with a shower, and maintain a low spray pattern). In the kitchen I would build a frame that would cross above the countertop where the cooktop is, which would support a cube refrigerator and microwave. Or you could place a refrigerator just outside of the kitchen under the electronic controls gang. Love the tiny washer area with the window to let the Air in. As for the main area, there are many textures! So I would put up a divider running from the front door across the room, stopping four foot short of the wall opposite of the door. That area would have the brick wall and a window. I would make this the bedroom. I couldn’t really tell from the entrance if that wall is shared with the next apartment. If it does, it might prove noisy. so it would be pretty easy to simply slide your room divider to the other side of the door angle it a little bit toward the brick wall, and you would have a nice bedroom area separate from the living area, which also included the bath area. It would be sort of en suite 😅.

He says the bed is a good idea and looks like a small storage can be put beside the bed or fridge. You can look for fridge alternatives for small spaces. I kind of like it,but your apartment could be set up with an elevated bed and be a better layout than this one! I also like that you have mini furniture to see how everything would be positioned. Your existing unit's kitchen though - it is off to one side which is nice. With an elevated bed and the desk placed underneath, you would have room for a small (not tiny) refrigerator, which could double as a tabletop of sorts. Hmm. I'd be tempted to stay where you are and just make some changes. One step at a time!

I really like this apartment! I wonder what the possibilities are for a loft bed in front of the kitchen area so you'd have to go under the bed to get into the kitchen. this opens up a lot of space in the rest of the apartment. If that were to fit, I personally would add a corner desk next to the door which has space for eating and a computer on one side and a tv monitor on the other side. placing a seat under the loft bed would allow for great movie watching time! There would also be space to put a small fridge under or even next to the desk!

Would you please do a video on laundromats in Japan? With the size of these micro-flats, it would be better to have a small fridge in the washer location. You can always add more shelves in the kitchen. The mezzanine idea is pretty good, you can still have a decent bed to sleep in and enough space for your desk and even a small Ikea dresser or closet for your clothes. The lay out is better in this flat. However, if you could afford a Paco prefabricated home, get the home and a piece of land for the future. Paying rent is like putting it in a safe box with a whole at the bottom. But, if renting is the only option, this will be a good flat to live in for years to come. Ensure the rent is frozen so it does increase over time. Could you do that? How about hotel studios or any studios?

The little kitchen nook gives it the sense of a multiple room apartment. Do you need in unit laundry? Can you not put a table height fridge there and then put a table top on in the width of the nook, so you get a small breakfast bar. You can also create a small kitchen island where you were planning the fridge with a small fridge underneath. We were in Japan in August, first time for both of us, but we fell in love.What an awesome country.

In a space this small I think a bed that converts to a desk would save a lot of space. Another option could be a day bed with storage underneath for clothes and other items and a coffee table that converts to a desk. With that setup you migth be able to host a few people over.

Hello Usuisan, So far I like this apartment the best. There’s no loft, which is a plus for you. There’s plenty of room for a loft bed set up which suits the room’s layout the best. The laundry and kitchen are separate from the living area which gives more space and flexibility for storage options. I’m assuming that you don’t cook very often so a small fridge that sits under the window beside the kitchen would work. Hope this helps because there’s a lot to consider. Happy hunting.

Of all the apartments you've seen so far, this one is my favorite of the lot. It's closest to my aesthetic. The brick wallpaper had me completely fooled for a quick minute. I have a few concert posters and flyers that would look great hung up on that wall. Obviously, the apartments with the "open floor plan" bathrooms are right out. I'm getting older, so lofts with ladders are out for me. The apartment with the loft and stairs was dark and gloomy. And the stair storage was unnecessarily complicated. The tiny house was very cool. I really liked the terrace. But where I live, it rains 9 months out of the year, so I'd need them to modify it so that it was more enclosed. Maybe plate glass.

Improvement over the all white hallway with glass shower/bathroom as you came in door. This is doable with well thought out furniture placement. Loft bed with desk & 4 cu ft fridge. Odd shaped corner a tall cube storage with baskets, a softstorage ottoman with a oversize pillow to lounge in, a fold down table under window. Has potential.

There are things that I like about this apartment, but the internal space is challenging to adjust... do you like the futon? (instead of a bed) You could take a desk to work, put a small closet, a small refrigerator, and a carpet for the floor, and roll out the futon to sleep.

I live in the USA. I'm a floor sleeper. I sleep on a 2.5 inch thick foam pad. I keep my bedding in a closet till it's time for bed. Many times, though, I'm so tired I just sleep on the bare floor and use a clean bath towel as a blanket.

Ojalá en mi país se pudieran usar para que muchas personas no se decepcionen porque eligieron mal sus muebles o su mini apartamento. ❤ Me gusta mucho cómo lo has hecho y has visto en unos segundos, qué te puede caber y qué no te puede caber en ese 🤏🏽 micro apartamento. Ese micro apartamento me gustaba porque tenía la lavadora fuera de la zona de la cama y creo que así no se notaría casi nada cuando estuviera centrífugando. También me ha gustado porque tenía una pequeña cocina aunque tenía muy poco espacio para el almacenamiento. Y le falta el espacio para el papel higiénico, productos de limpieza y de higiene. Me gusta este apartamento. Creo que la solución sería poner una cama que se pudiese recoger sobre la pared durante el día. Pondría un pequeño refrigerador y llevaría la ropa a lavar a una lavandería. El diseño del WC con lavamanos incorporado es muy interesante. ¡ Me encantan las ventanas!😊

Merhaba Usui 🙂, dairenin ahşap zemini ve ahşap tavanı hatta duvar kağıdı çok iyi sıcak bir ev havası vermiş, mutfağı ve onun ayrı alanını çok sevdim❤tuvalet ve banyo da dar ama kapalı ve kapları da hoş, ranza düşünürsen eğer yan taraflarını dolap tarzında tasarlayıp depolama alanı olur ve üstelik alanın geniş kalır, güzel bir daire ❤her şey istediğin gibi olsun💕🌸dilerim.

I agree! Some of the other apartments have it like that.... But it's probably for plumbing purposes... But agreed. I'd like the food and toilet area away from one another! 👍

This one has a lot of potential. A loft bed is best, and a smaller fridge between the bed and window, or a narrow fridge on the short wall beside the shower??

Best solution & good price ❤ Loft bed multipies storage: desk, chair, fridge, shoes, hanging clothes, drawer, toilet paper 😉 +armchair/sofa 🎉 Use telescopic rods: toilet, kitchen, over laundry, triangle corner. I dislike the darkness of wood & brick.

The best one so far. Although the washing machine would fit into the space how would you get it there? Getting it in place looks hard

A great video; thank you. The apartment was odd with the kitchen and laundry area in a tight corner but I can see how a loft bed would work. I really enjoyed seeing the ramen dinner. That looked delicious 😊😊😊

This is a beautiful one. looks posh with that fake brick wall and the dark wood. Just missing an "entrance area". I love the "kitchen corner", where the washing machine is nicely hidden. Just that water heater is a bit huge. But luckily in a place, where it does not annoy.

Yes, the colour scheme is very good here. I've seen bigger apartments that were all painted white & they looked like a cave. This one is warmer and more welcoming.

These tiny pieces of furniture are so cute ☺ but as for me Spiderman will never buy such a huge frige 😅 one thing a bit scary - is it possible to stuck in the shower if there is an other person in the apartment and he don't close the toilet door?🙄

This is the best one so far. Not too big with enough spaces for the amenities and walled off bathroom.

very nice one. easy to add a small shelf in the toilet room enough space to add some storage. I dont think I personally would use a lofted bed i would stick to one on the floor possibly under the window by the back wall if space to still get into the kitchen area. Then the desk near the door.

Nice that the kitchen is set off from the living room, so u can create a screen to reduce cooking smell going into living area.... but that right walkway does pose a problem....

At first look, this apartment doesn't seem bad, toilet/shower/kitchen all off of the main living area give you extra room to work with. But the angled wall is something that really impacts usable space making it more difficult to place things efficiently. Is your washing machine a stackable unit? A small refrigerator could be put on top of the washing machine if is stackable.

This apartment looks great 😃 For the refrigerator, maybe get a heavy duty metal rack for the laundry area? So the refrigerator is on the top shelf and washing machine at the bottom?

Солнечного света маловато. А так, ничего. Хороший вариант. Стол и кровать можно сделать откидывающимися. Тогда места будет больше. Ну и вариант с двухъярусной кроватью тоже отличный.

Love it, personally I would not have a washing machine, I would use a public one, then I would have cupboards/shelving in the washing machine space for the kitchen

I love that you use the little models, I was thinking it looked quite big until you put the bed in there! No space for Lego Spiderman. I always find it interesting that in such a small space they always try to get a washing machine in there. I think in England we'd rely more on a laundrette rather than using the space for that. I hope Spidey finds his perfect home soon!
