I don't understand why they didn't use the area under the ladder for the laundry corner (especially since its right next to the bathroom and convenient in terms of plumbing). Then you'd have enough room for a bed and a desk, and the loft could be used for storage (I couldn't sleep up there, it's so claustrophobic!). I don't know if you can change the color of the walls (🤕), and you can't see the view outside, which is a downer, esp. compared to the previous apartment...

I'd use the extra money from the rent for laundry and put my bed along the far wall going over the tray for the washer. The loft would be only for storage of items out of season. Put a small fridge on the window side of the sink then a small dresser under the window. Lots of plants. Could always get a bucket and a plunger to wash small clothing items by hand. Just took another look, might even be able to squeeze the bed along the wall under the ladder, leaving space for a small, comfy chair and desk.

I would go crazy in these tiny spaces. I once stayed in a tiny place in Budapest and could not see the sky through the window which faced an air vent. After2 months my sleep, moods were severely affected. Never again. It it seriously bad for people to be so confined.

If you're an able bodied person, then i definitely suggest the traditional futon in the loft. It's a shame the washer can't be under the stairs. Despite poor Spidey's PTSD I think for the price it could be a really cozy place. Would love a $300 loft this clean in the USA.

Good video 👍 that whole apartment was definitely weirdly layed out, especially where the washing machine was ment to go... Why was it in the middle of the room 🤔 it should be by the sink or under the ladder to maximise the small space to the full. We really enjoy your videos, thank you ❤️

Table top over laundry, futon in loft. Reclining chair in living space. Desk under stairs. Hooks and shelves in stair well. Get those small spaces designers to work their magic. Light and loft space make a difference

I agree! The laundry would be great under the stairs... But maybe you can incorporate the laundry with a counter top and use it for storage and dress up it to disguise the washing unit. Under the stairs could make a nice little office area perhaps! 😊

The green wall is a bit unusual, yet I like it. The loft saves space if you sleep there. Otherwise, you could use a folding bed and use the loft for storage, that would be a good alternative

This one is nice, if it were me I'd definitely use the loft for storage too, hook the stairs on the wall, and just sleep on the ground floor! Feels safer and more comfortable that way 😄If we used a folding bed, and with the stairs hung flat on the wall, maybe we could even fit a small working table.

The loft space is the logical choice for the bed. The living room has space for a desk &/or a small couch. That color is really too bright to me, but a more muted green would be nice. I like seeing some color for a change.

The lime green 🍏 apartment was rather nice for the $rent$. What threw me off was the washer connection in the living room. That's going to take up a lot of your living space. And the loft was a little.... to little.😊❤

I would put some kind of curtain or hanging vertical blinds to separate the staircase entry into the main room. You would have less aircondition loss if something is at least semi closed off. I think the apartment is big enough, but the layout is impractical - you lose a lot of area through dead spaces.

If you are allowed to put up shelves along the stairs, this would be awesome! You can have lots of storage that way! I love the green wall! You can break up the colour with curtains, paintings etc. I really like this one! The washing machine area could be better placed though.

oooo I like this one ........ except for the green lol its a bit bright. If I lived here i would call it The Nest as you are up high like a bird nest. One thing I have noticed with a lot of the apartments you have shown is that they have frosted windows. Im not sure I would like that . I would like to be able to see out to the street even if its a bad view

I liked the other loft apartment that you looked. Stairs to loft, that had more space, instead of a ladder. But your the renter, not me. Liked the bathroom though, all in 1, not separate rooms. Good luck😊😊

Thanks. Through this video, I started to see how to change the rent for different apartments... but if the nearest metro station is a 12-minute walk away... This apartment is only convenient if you work near it. I don't need to think about those green walls... Also, if you are afraid of ladders, avoid them... this apartment can have a desk between the washing machine and the kitchen, and a futon in the loft.

I like green, but not this one, too bright as for me. loft is more like storage space, not sleeping, a bit claustrophobic 😅😅 and is it possible to turn the ladder? It seems to give more space for a bed.

An Ikea futon chair would be nice in this space. You'd have to make sure anything that came in would fit up those ladder like stairs. But everything is nice and new.

I'm not bothered by the green paint, but the mirror over the stove and sink definitely bothers me. I have problems with mirrors hung anywhere but in a bathroom. I am not agile enough to be able to make a hard right turn and climb over a safety bar at the top of the ladder in order to crawl into that loft space. So many of these micro apartments appear to just be left over spaces that were turned into "apartments" for the purposes of generating income for the property owner rather than allow the adjoining apartments to be just a little bit larger. Without a properly comfortable area for sleeping, this does not seem to be a habitable space. With the green wall, it seems it would be perfect as an office/film studio for a KZbin content creator who needs a green screen to incorporate special effects into their film. It isn't good as a living space.

I think its nicer to look at stairs after entrance than looking at kitchen sink or toilet ^^' The kitchen area is nice. The loft space is not so nice here. I like this green color but in this small room... I seems to darken the room.

That is definitely a step down from what you have now. The washer is indeed in the wrong corner and should be under the ladder. As it is, it uses too much space. Next apartment.

The walls are violently green. I think I’d start hating the color pretty quickly if I had to live there. The layout seems a bit impractical, but I suppose you could put a small refrigerator next to the washing machine (behind the ladder).

You can buy a portable washer that be used at the kitchen sink and then put away.I would do that, and have my bed over the washer area for space

I like it. Just the washing machine placement is weird. It's dead space under there so it would have been perfect. I suppose you coukd use that space for storage? You woukd just need to find the perfectly shape wardrobe for tge space ... 😊

That green wall needs to go. I'd paint it a gray or blue pastel/something calming. The foldable bed is a good idea, but I'd probably skip it and just use a folding futon. The rest is do-able but not happy with that very shallow bathroom sink Splish splash all over for sure. I'd use the loft for storage (of everything) only.

No Usui, this is too much hard work. All those stairs and steps? No way! And sleep is very important so you need to be comfortable, not squashed into folding beds like a magician! I do like the green colour though....but its still a no from me! :)

I love those stairs, althogh they are a bit a waste of space. But they are lovely! The Green color is a bit weird, but why not! Also that unusual, small sink is great and leaves some creative options. Small rooms do not need bulky "kitchenettes"... (esp. if you are not much cooking anyway). Just that washing machine in THIS place is totaly annoying. I would like to put a desk there. Hope there is some laundromat close by. And a futon goes on the loft.

You can see why they didn't do it, but it would have made so much more sense to put the washing machine hookup underneath the ladder. But since the loft is so small, they must be expecting you to use it for storage and to put the ladder against the wall most of the time, which would free some more floor space

For me the main issue is that even if the price is good, the transportation, restaurants, markets, etc. are 12 minutes away. There's plenty of room to accommodate other amenities. Too bad you are afraid of heights because that loft would be okay to sleep, so you could have the desk downstairs. In all, this flat is definitely a no-no for you. 🤷

I have an accent wall in my living room which is almost the same green. I found the previous colour very depressing as It's quite a dark room with limited natural light so I find the wall makes it feel much brighter. So I really like that colour and it's incorporated into small decorated pieces around the room. It has a very positive effect on my mood. ❤

With the narrow stairs space, i always wonder how'd one bring their bed upstairs? If the area were like places that occasionally get flood then I'd definitely happy to get stairs. Looking at the stairs to the loft, i'm afraid too...... Would it be easy to bring fridge upstairs?

I love the price and I'm not too worried about the distance. Not too bad plus it'll be fun to figure out storage. I love a challenge. Also put a table to the left or right side of the kitchen for more counter space. still use a small futon couch with a small tv stand on one side and desk and chair on the other side.

Olá Usui! Esse apartamento é pitoresco 😊, começa pela parede verde😱, faltou bom gosto! Aquela escada no caminho diminuiu muito o pouco espaço oferecido! O quarto no andar de cima, me deixou sem ar, pra descer a escada é perigoso, como a escada da entrada,! Não oferece uma lavadoura de roupas! Banheiro e box, muito apertados, do espelho do banheiro dá pra ver a parede verde😊, a pia da cozinha com aquele espelho com luzinhas me fez dar boas risadas! I like it, if you could move the washing machine under the ladder and you slept in the loft with your head to the ladder end so your face is to the open end, it would work. Even the green, a nice arm chair in a beige with wall hangings in apricot shades would not only cut the colour but compliment everything

I have a new brilliant solution! You can shower while sitting! And then the shower can be on top of the washing machine! And then, this house, where there are so many stairs, will receive one more - to the shower stall! Brilliant! Bravo! :) Ha ha ha

Salut Usui! Oh selon moi ça ne conviens pas du tous pour toi, loin de là. De un tu as le vertige et tu va te cogner la tête chaque matin. Ensuite, monter une laveuse dans les escaliers, surtout qu'ils tournent, ce n'est pas géniale surtout qu'ils sont très étroit. Ensuite, le mur vert, c'est selon moi pas une bonne idée, ça donne mal à la tête. Je crois que tu peux avoir beaucoup mieux que ça. Continu tes recherches, tu va y arriver, faut juste pas lâcher. Tant qu'à prendre rapidement, vaut mieux que tu reste dans ton appartement que tu as présentement. Évalue tes besoins et tu va finir par trouver ce que tu recherche.

I do not like the loft, so never use, or only for storage for seasonal clothes. Would need a bed that converts to other furniture. Put a desk under the ladder, and if we never use the loft ask landlord if the ladder can go somewhere else as it take up space.. removing the ladder will open more space for desk/table, or a loft bed.

Beaucoup de place perdue par le lave-linge. Il serait mieux sous l'échelle et si celle-ci était un peu moins abrupte, on pourrait ranger bien des choses en dessous. I like the stairs. The walls are the same color as my bathrooms, but ours is paint, not wallpaper. I don't think it's great, though. My opinion is to keep looking. 😊
