Wow thank you so much for this...I am currently coming out of a NAR ministry here in Jacksonville FL...I was told that I was to be a "Prophet" and we were forced to call others in the Ministry by their 5 fold title and we had to submit to the Apostle...and as I began to study the word for myself I began to see that a huge portion of what they were teaching and promoting was totally unbiblical...I need your prayers because I know God wants me to leave, but I have many friends and I know that these ties must be severed. I pray for others in my similar situation that God will give them the strength and where with all to walk away from this dangerous movement. God bless you. Melissa D.

Secular guy in Redding, California, here. Thanks for telling us all about NAR. Bethel, you might want to know, has tremendous pull in our town. The 'good news' (if you will) is that the kids/students are a decent sort by and large, and provide our coffee shops with a constant supply of earnest baristas. But the Christianity that they present to the world is (in my opinion) absurdly prideful and self-inflating. They can seem quite thirsty after the extra "powers" they're allegedly developing, as if the meaning of the Temptations in the Desert is just lost on them. That's unlike most Protestants of my acquaintance, who are decently humble and oriented toward serving Christ by serving their fellow humans. I wish you all well, and thanks again for the information.

You are spot on in your discernment, and I sincerely THANK YOU for sharing! Hopefully the Church World will sit up and take notice. I've been studying and observing this movement as it seeps into into formerly, theologically grounded churches that rightly once divided the Word of Truth. Within the movement is a blatant escalation of man's authority, a de-escalation of the Authority of God and blatant watering down of His Sovereignty. The spiritual pride of those in the movement is blaring and growing as they buy into it. Its tangible in their behavior, as you mentioned. Believers can't abandon the Humility of Christ as we spread the Gospel, and be the mirrored image of Christ as we go. Distorting His Image, which also distorts His Word, IS writing another gospel. God bless you richly. 🙏🏼

Pray for our Pastors - they do a great job, and it is much harder than meets the eye ... in times past - teachers used to worry about students passing notes, or sticking gum under their seat, pastors - would say we hate the sin, but we love you and put their arm around the hidden family member, yet today - it's not so simple, with the Satanic demonic infiltration of the church, to distract, and keep many aloof and away, or gossip and divide, Jesus said the Gates of Hell will not prevail, so pray for these men, to keep STANDING for Truth in the Armor of God, as they preach to and protect the flock and family known as RBC, Happy 8th anniversary fellas.

How does Bill Johnson explain his wife NOT being healed, and dying?
@scottracey8 ай бұрын
My wife was healed of cancer, we had a ultrasound photo of the tumor. She wanted to go to Bethel for prayer less than a week after the Dr showed us the picture of the tumor. We went to the healing room on a Saturday, surgery was on Tuesday, the surgeon said what we knew was there wasn’t there. This has been 16 years ago. Our daughter passed away from cancer 5 years ago, she also went to the healing room at Bethel for prayer, why my wife was healed and our daughter wasn’t I don’t know why. We don’t blame God, we don’t blame anyone. We would go back again if needed.

Rooted in demonic pride for position and power, sounds about as far away from Jesus example of - guys, do you want to be great? then wash some feet, get dirty. Guys when someone wrongs you, turn the other cheek, love one another, and be good to those who mean you harm or evil. If you can restore those who will listen. Whatever happened to Jesus increases in glory and power, and we diminish. Sounds like you can write your own cheque or certificate and you are good to go, self-appointed, claiming to be the new leader of the blind, leading the blind, under the guise of charisma, and falsehoods. Anyone who preaches extra deep mystery revelation - over the Bible - all that has been revealed already, as Paul says is accursed, anethema, and should be ignored. Good session.

I've spent a lot of years in WofF and NAR churches before I knew better. The problem is that the people there don't even know what NAR is. They never call themselves NAR. In fact, they rarely ever use the term "authoritative" or "governing" in reference to apostles. If you even use big words around them, they just say you have a religious spirit. They follow after feelings and experiences, not sound doctrine. For the people in these churches, it's all about the feelings. I've been out of this movement for several years now and still have a hard time getting through to them.

I will tell you 3 years ago God gave me word for some who serve in my church at the time. It happened not long before I moved out of town. God wanted to launch something and it was revival in that church. The pastor did accept the word from me and I knew I was being told to lead that Church into something and was given kingdom authority to give word for others there but it was not a thing where I was going to move in on anyone's position. God had me wake up another church after that and it seemed God was sending me to leaders in churches to transform them. I was used to show that God can use anyone if we love Jesus enough.

I do not agree with this NAR movement for the record. I found out that it is correct that Jesus acted in the Holy Spirit. It is in the Bible and we can do these things also when he is manifested in us as in John 14 or 15 I think it is. He said if we love him and keep his commandments he would manifest in us and this happened to me and I was delivered and healed. I have seen way too many miracles to doubt the power of the Holy Spirit. God will help us if we believe and we obey Christs commandments. It is about the heart. We can not have any darkness or contempt or resentments or unforgiveness in our hearts. Saying we forgive often is not enough. I was almost 50 when I finally got water baptized and something spiritual did happen. It was not my first miracle either but they started happening regularly since then. It has been 3 years now. God cured my anxiety and depression and my PTSD. He healed my health also. He also healed my heart and relationships. My wife and I live in a state of joy unspeakable all the time. We sing to God all day. We do live worship gatherings in the evening. We spend so much time with God because we want his company. We are not ok anywhere else but in his presence and he helps us be protected form temptation. Its amazing. I have to pinch myself I am not kidding. I wake up singing! God did that. I was a desperate mess before. I needed to forgive all in my heart and humble myself before the Lord with all of my heart soul and mind. Worship is singing but it is also so much more. It is loving the Lord and the things that he loves. We get to see what those things are. We get to see his heart! Knowledge of his will comes through his heart.

I'm not overly familiar with all of the Bible and have much to read and study. But what I am sure about is that it is not enough to just believe in the Trinitarian Godhead - God the Father, Jesus the Son and Holy Spirit. You also have to give equal weight to each part of it as a disciple too - their significance in the whole of the Gospel. Some theologies play down one or more elements of the Trinity, despite declaring otherwise. Calvinism is one such arm, leaving believers who think about their faith wondering why Jesus even came to earth in the first place, if God had already decided who was going to be saved. That distortions lay at the root of heresies too, not just outwardly denouncing the Trinitarian Godhead. The rest of the Bible is largely a matter of cultural interpretation and personal preference e.g., some will say women can wear trousers as women wear trousers these days, others will say they can't and that they are wearing men's clothes which is unbiblical: so some will lean toward a conservative interpretation of these secondary considerations, others toward a more modern approach that keeps step with modern culture just like Jesus kept in step with the culture of his day too - by wiping feet. Within both, you will find true followers of Christ. They are the ones that never stop seeking, asking, praying for the truth of how we should live and worship him and to grow in our knowledge and relationship with him, and they never start to worship the Pastor or overly rely upon other non-Biblical sources to gain knowledge about God. They never stop being discerning either. the Pharisees are those that appear to know it all, seem outwardly religious and pious but have poisoned hearts. By your fruits you will be known. God knows the heart of each one of us, and that is what he will judge us on. Not our outward declarations, our appearances or our religiosity.

We get those miracles on our own. We do not need a prophet to tell us. God can tell others in the church the same thing. We should all wait on the Holy Spirit and know Jesus is the head of the Church and none of us have ultimate authority to say God speaks to us and not others.

And people also need to know that this is a 10 headed snake because of all the lingo and titles pertaining to this movement . They’re preparing us for a civil war in the church and the 7 mountain mandate . They refuse to teach on the book of revelation although some are starting too because the return of Christ is soon. More Exposure to their teachings and names are helpful as well . Kingdom now, latter rain , Joel’s army, NAR, 7 mountain mandate , sons of thunder, the call , one thing, the send, Jesus culture, elevation , bethel , ihop and Kansas City prophets, Toronto blessing , Lakeland revival debacle , GOD tv , etc. also if ur church starts doing prophetic booths, fire tunnels, sozo, grave soaking and singing about open portals over ur church …RUN

So the process for prayer is that you petition God in prayer, like when Esther went before the king, than when or if God approves your petition it is right to decree and declare the matter in the earth realm knowing God is backing that up. A good example of someone missing that was when Kenneth Copeland tried to “blow away and execute judgment” on covid19. God was totally allowing covid like the plagues on Egypt to be a judgment on the world, so nothing happened and Kenneth Copeland looked silly 🙃. Take authority over your church and family like the nation of Israel in Goshen but the judgment God sent against Egypt was not going to be stopped.

No where does it say we are to take control over society, it does not say we are even capable of (much less called to) putting everyone under God’s law to make the earth all better so Jesus can then come again, no where does it say we can or are called to conquer powers & principalities! The Great Commission is sharing the Gospel (salvation through Jesus) so people can become members of the Kingdom of God. Not conquering the world, not forcing people to Jesus, not defeating entities of the unseen realm.

Jesus definitely demonstrated the Powers of the Kingdom. The early church and later Apostle Paul did exercise spiritual gifts. Through the Revelation of the Mystery, the dispensation of Grace entrusted to Apostle Paul we see these sign gifts fall away as Apostle Paul states clearly will happen. Israel Rejected the offer of their King and their Kingdom. Saul of Tarsus is the Leader of the Rebellion, the Glorified Risen Christ chose Saul of Tarsus on the road to Damascus for a Secret that was only revealed to Saul later known as Apostle Paul. Paul's Revelation of the mystery of Jew&Gentile joined together forming the Body of Christ by the Cross alone and not through Israel. Romans 9-11.This does not do away with Israel's future promised Kingdom. Paul's Revelation guarantee's Israel's future.

From our perspective Bill Johnson teaching kenotic error (denies the deity of Christ) & basically adoptionism (Jesus became the Christ at his baptism) are heresy, as it teaches another Jesus, plus as they say another gospel (focusing on miracles & prophetic downloads, not repentance from sin & faith in Christ alone, so basically Pelagianism or semiPelagian at the very least), and certainly a different spirit to the Holy Spirit as the Bible portrays. Many others are copycat teaching this too, and most of it traces back to WOF teachings... Definitely not the really good news about Jesus as Scripture portrays!! Mark & avoid....

They make “prophetic” claims then blame the “unfaithful” church if they don’t materialize. Hank Kunneman is one. Lance Walnau clearly loves the Lord, but pushes the 7 mountains of the kingdom with great frustration that it’s failing. Dutch Sheets seems very much in love with the Lord, but his hopes to save America also seem very unlikely. Mario Murillo preaches the Gospel like crazy then discredits himself with making more about healing than salvation! I think people are misled because they don’t understand DISPENSATIONALISM. They are Replacement Theologians. When the Jews rejected Christ, the kingdom on earth was delayed for them until AFTER the rapture & great tribulation! The Gospels kingdom teaching doesn’t apply now! We aren’t raising the dead in this church dispensation! Sorry! We aren’t healing people; Sorry! We aren’t moving mountains; Sorry! We MUST RETURN to dispensational teaching! No the church is NOT Israel, and the literal kingdom is NOT NOW! Doesn’t an honest look at what’s happening in Israel right now mean ANYTHING biblical to these people? Nope, in fact they HATE it because it supports dispensationalism & they look the other way! SAD.

No it’s called discernment. You be careful to test every spirit and hold on to the Word of God.

I was raised from the dead. Not by a pastors prayers. By the desperate prayers of my mother. I was long dead in the morgue also. I have seen it come up again recently. This is not strange at all. We can not make any move without God moving. None of us have any special power ourselves. God does it and calls us to pray for these things. Anytime I prayed for someone and they were healed God told me to do it. When I was healed I also heard from the Lord and was told to ask for prayer. The Holy Spirit loves doing this stuff but we also need to submit to the Lord so it can happen. We can not decide who God wants to heal.

Jesus warned us about you religious people “be ware of the leaven of the Pharisees”

Hmm they also mentioned this reaction. Maybe you are a new believer but please study the Bible carefully and check the NAR against its teaching. The Holy Spirit will also guide you.

@@54725 nope, been walking with the lord 25 years, and I’m a prophet, so according to them I don’t exist. But the Bible talks about the 5 fold ministry and the gifts of the spirit. I’m going to stick with Gods word.

It is Calvinism that is bringing church splits with their Augustinian Meticulous Determinism.

Christ only performed miracles by the spirit(finger) of God. It's the Father in Christ who does the works. JN14:10 Ac2:22 Ac10:38 2Cor5:19 Lk4:18. Why don't you believe God's word. Jesus is not the Deity. Only the Father is the only true God and the one God and the only God. Jn17:3 Eph4:6 Rom 16:27 etc. Jesus hasba God. Rv3:12 Jesus is subject to his God. 1Cor15:24,27.

Read the NT. Jesus is not the Deity. Jesus son of the Most High God. Mk5:7 Sincd Jesus is not the Most High God then he is not the Deity. There is only one Most High God , the Father. Rv21:22 The Lord God the Almighty is only the Father. The Lamb is not the Most High. Only the Father is called the Most High in the NT. Only the Father is called the only true God. Jn17:3 only the Father us called the one God. 1Cor8:6 Jesys is a flesh and bone man. Jn8:40 Lk24:39 The trinity loses again. The trinity is false a fabrication of mortal fallible confused men 250 years after the apostles.

@@keithfuson7694 read everything Jesus Yeshua said. God bless. You created your own religion It is about the entire story from Genesis to Revelation, not cherry picked verses. Are you saved/ born again as in John 3? The Holy Spirit then leads you to truth, not deception.

Most of this is just slander. What you are saying is not true, especially when you paint everyone by the same strokes.

How much money are you making writing books on this subject? If it's such a disaster to the church, why don't you offer your books for free? Here we go with the music! What theology are we to follow? The Bible or your religion?

You mean some of the well known false teachers? Why do you scoff at Biblical warnings. Be humble and do your own research in light of scriptures.
