The 2023 Lunar New Year doll is on my wish list. Loved her the moment I saw her but had just spent way over my budget on a couple of others. This is the problem when Mattel bring out so many Signature dolls in October and November to hit the Christmas market.

Thank you for providing us info and more detailed looks at them especially since i dont have that many dolls in my collection just yet Im so in love with the taya sculpt like the moment i saw her i clocked her as a fellow pinay !! and wanted to get fashionista 199 so bad but i cant find her anywhere. I preordered the sparkly prosthetic girlie when she first came out from a secondary seller and imagine my excitement when it turned out she has the taya sculpt! ♡ cant wait to have her next year have a safe and happy holidays!

Gypsy, you are a beauty and a sweetheart. Thank you for featuring your Guitar doll. I’d asked about because he just stood out to me. I would lament in my head because I love how he looks and I couldn’t imagine what sculpt that was. You did a great job with doll! I have that Taylor Launter head, so I just may do that. The hair choice is perfect. I don’t like what Mattel did on the hair. What you mentioned about Samoans hair texture surprises me. The first Samoans I was ever aware of were The Jets (80s singing group), Jimmy Snuka (wrestler), and a wrestling duo called The Wild Samoans. They all had thick curly hair kinda like Guitar. Two dolls that seem, to me, to have new face sculpts are Fashionista #147 (GYB02) red/pink/purple striped dress and Fashionista #201 (HPF77) Good Vibes T-shirt dress. I rebodied #147 onto a made to move GXF05 green top yoga body and #201 onto a Nikki/Artsy Glam Style body

She is the same face as the rainbow dress fashionistas with the super dark skin tone and straight black hair, from a previous wave. Also used on a fashionistas that came with tan skin tone: #73.

@@Blarean50 wow thanks for asking. In September, I had a miscarriage/still birth. I'm going to talk about it in a video just to share information and update everyone. I think more women should be aware of the risks and signs that I didn't know about, even tho he was my 3rd pregnancy. I do have some pix I will share. I appreciate you checking in, so sweet.
