Btw you can’t get the pawl freewheel from giant, but dt Swiss makes one (it can also be rebuilt).

anybody knows if the ratchet can be upgraded? because the sheet says that it uses dt240 system. So could you fit the ratcher upgrade kit to 54T inside of this wheel?

Late answer, but maybe for others: 1x6902 and 3x6802. Had to disassemble my wheel because Giant doesn't like to share this info. They also only sell the hub as a set, while most people will only have to replace the bearings.

@@hadipramono1596 no. These recent models from giant do not have compatibility with any dt swiss rachet system anymore.

Unfortunately, that hub has a poor design, very inferior than DT. You never interface moving steel with aluminum, as seen in 16:00. DT uses a threaded steel piece, it doesn't wear out the hub body. Many Giant SLT1 rear wheels are failing due to this poor design.
