NLTP Act 1989 nothing has change and it's been so many years that every churches ⛪ praying and fasting for but, no reformation in our society. Liquor is not new in Nagaland its available every where. My opinion instead of using drugs like brown sugar, shan flower and cocaine its better to use good quality Alcohol. Please, church leaders this is not in our hands to keep control but to urge Nagaland govt. to implement some good strategies and plan to protect our people.

Church leaders should focus on religious intervention instead of interfering in government policy matters..NLTP act 1989 is completely a failure where anyone can witness liquor shop from every streets and corners around the state..simply voicing out against this act without any action makes the consumers consuming low quality liquor with higher prices so in my opinion better to lift the ban so that it will enhance our state revenue and can definitely recovered some of our state deficits

NBCC and the Churches has ever right to voice out, because NLTp act was passed through the proper channel of NBCC. But one thing what im confused is that why the government is saying that this act doesn't work, whom are they blaming? Are they not in power to control and ban totally? If they can talk about lifting of NLTP act ! Than they can also strongly stand to strictly implement on it. The only think is that we used our power for our own gain and benifits that is the reason things are lacking as if we don't have a leader. So that public has ever right to shout on this act bcoz our government don't stick to the rule so i think by now our government should wake up and apply there there power and to strictly implement on it
