You’ll get over it quickly when you move somewhere easier to live with less visa hassles and surveillance. You’ll miss the food. That’s about it.

Visa's alright, just have to sign a piece of paper and provide a photo every year. Less censored internet and not having to use "real name verification" and upload passport details to use half the vending machines in the city (that's a thing in Shanghai's parks now) will be nice though. The surveillance thing certainly does keep getting worse.

​@@markcharters1320Don't suppose there's a Siem Reap marathon by any chance? Sure it would be brutal in the permasummer but would love to go back there. Absolutely loved my one holiday in Cambodge way back when.
