Thank you for your review! I’m an obsessed Regal guy currently with 33SAV and plan to order new 38SAV by year end. I already know I love the boat but just like to hear any other opinions and I value yours. I hope you keep doing this channel. Sincerely appreciate it, Dean. PS I echo your comment to Greg that the dealer makes or breaks. I am lucky to have a relationship similar to yours with AM/PM Marine.

Hey Dean! Thanks again for your support! I think you will be very happy with the 38 SAV... The more I get on the boat, the more I am impressed by it!

@@From100to26Well I bought the 38. So far so good, I love it! I would like to know which upgrade you did which has been the best so far? I have the Sionyx Night Vision going in next week. Would like to add camera facing stern and considering a boat monitoring system…debating Siren vs. Skyhawk Oversea. Do you have any thoughts?
@From100to263 ай бұрын
@@deancastor Hey Dean! That is awesome! We did an entire episode going over all of our upgrades.... the link is below. I would go with Siren because they are now owned by Yamaha and you can not track your maintenance for your engines on the Siren as well.. very cool! kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpineoiNm6d6oLM

@@From100to26 Thank you I wanted a positive review of Siren because yes it will be nice to have everything integrated. I just ordered two Fendertex Fenders so your reviews are having an impact!

You picked the best one.. Any insight on my situation.. Just a bowrider boat.. I’ve narrowed it down to the Regal LS6 to the Cobalt R6 and the Sea Ray SDX 250 & 260 (Outboard only) I’ve seen them in person and still can’t decide.. 80% usages in southern Florida interest coastal .. Won’t go faster in that And a couple of Mini weekends Bahamas.. Only would do that if the weather is perfect for that.. I wonder way the Regal LS is 1500 lbs lighter then the Sea Rays.. Is that an advantage? I don’t care about gas costs Thank you in advance for any advice Greg

hummmm... I am slightly impartial to Regal and Cobalt.... I would say if you are looking at new, I would very much look into the reviews of the dealerships you will be working with... They will make or break the experience for you. I have had great boats in the past absolutely get demolished by a poor dealership experience..... Reference a few "mini weekend Bahamas" trips.. in a 26LX or something similar... I am not sure I would take something that has that type of a hull through the gulfstream.. again just my opinion. I know people who have done it on a 26XO but that has more of a deep V hull with higher freeboard... but a bow rider.. .I guess you could but weather always changes... careful 😬

you looking into a dinghy yet for the boat? Beaching and even having dock space in our area is hard with a boat over 30ft. Been looking into an inflatable bag Highfield KAM 280 with a small 6hp for when needed.
@From100to267 ай бұрын
Hey Ryan! Great question, yep we have already purchased our tender, we went the inflatable TrueKit 3.0 tender (future episode). It is simply amazing quality (blew me away and reminded me of a USCG inflatable due to their quality). We paired this with the 2.5 hp Suzuki outboard. I think you will be hard pressed to be able to get a 6 hp engine put into your dingy from your big boat without killing yourself.... or falling in. I am a pretty strong guy and I can tell you because of the weird angles (and the weird weight distribution of an outboard) it is rather difficult to lower it into a boat so low in the water. My friend did a side by side comparison between the 2.5 hp Suzuki and the 2.5 h.p. Tohatsu which is 13 lbs heavier and found the weight difference extremely noticeable...

@@From100to26you make a great point on that outboard weight. Looking forward to that video!!!

But wait, if you buy a regal now.... sounds like an infomercial!
@From100to267 ай бұрын
Except informercials are designed to make money for the individuals or companies. We don't accept any discounts, we paid full price for our boat and all the accessories, we don't make commissions... we don't accept free products. In that way we can deliver an honest review. I would recommend watching all of our Regal videos as I will be the first to point out any shortcomings that I have found.

@@From100to26your videos started out awesome but seem more geared towards stuff that most of us will never buy nor interested in buying. Find your niche and stick with that.

@@tlteal Not sure I understand... are you talking about the Bravo Series? The reality is that this channel will be focused on taking the lessons learned though all the years of boating and bringing that experience down to boating that more people are doing, and that is the focus going forward. Sorry if this is something you will "never buy nor interested in buying"....

@@From100to26I'm missing the point of the video to begin with. Is it to educate us on your buying experience with Regal? Is it to showcase Regal and your buying experience? What is the intended purpose? I want to be better educated. Thanks.

@@tlteal The title of the channel is “From 100 to 26” … that seems pretty self explanatory. If you watched the series from the beginning, then you’d know what the channel is about. But if you haven’t, then the channel is about owning a 100’ expedition yacht and getting back to “boating” by going back down to a small 26’ Regal. We quickly learned that a 26’ pocket cruiser didn’t work for us. We then built a new boat and spent the last few episodes taking the viewer through the building process of the 38’ boat including all the upgrades. Viewers have reached out to us asking to show the various 38’ Regals on the market and a few have reached out to us privately to discuss various Regal boats ranging from their smaller bow orders to all the way up to their most recently launched 50’ SAV. Our channel has a decent following of current Regal Boat owners and boat enthusiasts who are considering buying a Regal boat. We also have followers who know us personally and have asked us to document our journey through boat ownership; hence why we initially started this channel. Our content is simple: intended to take people through the processes and experiences that we have gone through and are going experiencing. We will eventually be documenting our trips once the weather breaks for the season. If it doesn’t interest you, that’s okay. We aren’t trying to gain a million views or even 100,000 subscribers. We are here for the people who “get it”… and if that’s not you, well then, we get it.
