To Jeff’s point about how helpful it would be to have videos of the actual experiments linked in the studies or the supplementary material, I think it’s interesting that this hasn’t already become common practice in this field. I study animal behavior and especially now that most people access the literature online, raw footage of the behaviors of interest are often linked within the text or, at the very least, in the supplementary material.

Interview begins at 5:10. Enjoy! Edit: I have to say, Jeff has such a chill personality. More thoughtful and soft-spoken people in fitness, please

I really appreciate the wide range of topics. This one in particular is a goldmine for someone like myself looking to start their own science/fitness communication content. I've got the passion and now need to start the process.

Yeah, I'm looking at what I want to do for content myself and this episode was excellent. Sticking with content I want to make and/or would want to watch myself is what I'm trying to use to guide what I make.

Long form documentary on lifting from Jeff would be incredible. Get Netflix on the phone! Even better if Omar and Eric in as well with cameos from Alan Thrall, Brian Alsruhe, Geoff Schofield and AlphaDestiny.

That was a low key way of Eric throwing shade at Greg Doucette who built his name attacking Jeff and Stephanie.

Slight overstatement there. He is an equal opportunity hater. His natty or not series was his algorithm breakthrough.

Loved the podcast, as always! I feel silly noticing and should have been paying closer attention elsewhere but towards the end of the podcast, Omar was talking about LOTR and I believe accidentally said Theoden was the Steward of Gondor and I couldn't help but to correct it to Denethor 😅😂 Obviously way to big of a LOTR nerd over here 🤓

With the clout you guys have online, you should consider creating some sort of private institute that does independent research. You can upload vids and present it in different ways. Also, if you do that, can I get a job lol.

Exercise Sciences, evidence based or whatever you call it, one should approach different phenomenon from both more constructivist view and then people who have more traditional positivist worldview try to offer statistical validation for models that are created from qualitative research papers.
