Wow. I don’t think I can fully express how much this podcast resonated with me. I’ve been watching everything TrueGeordie has put out on YT for a couple of years now. And I’ve always loved Brian’s ability to be self aware, own up to his mistakes, and try to improve on himself. And then there’s Lawrence.. what an incredible friend - he always listens, offers sound and non invasive advice, takes and gives punches like an absolute champion, never takes himself too seriously and will pull you up when you need it. These two men together is a fucking blessing that I absolutely love that I get to experience. When Brian opened up about his negative self talk, hatred for who he used to be, and inability to enjoy anything when the bullshit takes hold, I just couldn’t believe it. It was as if he was describing me and not himself. Even the unfortunate situation with his dad.. I’m experiencing something verrrrry similar in my life Rn. I’m really proud of where these guys and this channel are at. Keep up the great work gents, I’ll keep supporting however I can.

As someone with PTSD and Borderline Personality Disorder among other things and also having a strange relationship with my Mum and no relationship with my Dad due to personal choices. I really respect both of you and how open you can be on the podcast. When the roles reverse and you have to be the more parental one in the relationship due to the parents mental health and look after them it really can be a challenge at times especially if you are struggling with your own mental health alongside it. Definitely not the only one who’s benefited from the raw open talk about life + mental health in this podcast. Any time this type of podcast is posted by you guys it always makes me have a look at how I’m working on myself and what I can do to improve on physical and mental health.
