Super glad KZbin recommended this video to me. You’re amazing, bruh!!!🥳 I’m looking to get the pocket 3 creator combo for my vlogs but I don’t know if it’ll be great for studio interviews too???☹️

Hey thanks for the comment and kind words! It really depends. I'm prepping myself to try my hand at an indie style narrative feature or short film but wether it's the best camera for that set up I've not tried it yet. It might be good, in theory it would work given the quality is good and it has a very quick set up time. Since I've never tried it (except on my GH5s) I don't really know. Are there any channels on KZbin where you've seen someone using it for an interview?

Randomly stumbled on here as I was researching Japan and Osmo pocket 3 videos.. and found this beaut! Thank you for sharing. The music and color are gorgeous! I can't wait to take my osmo pocket 3 to Japan this year!

Hey you'll have such an amazing time! the best lighting my eyes have seen. also just make sure when moving through cities like Tokyo, Osaka for changing the frame rate for the flickering lights. I'm editing one video right now literally fixing it haha
@alisterfelix8 ай бұрын
@@NoHomage thanks for the tip! You mean to lower the frame rate right?
@NoHomage8 ай бұрын
@@alisterfelix oh as in fps. as in I think some cities are ok with 25fps but some I had to change to 30fps upon arrival but since I was vlogging the whole time Id missed it and it was to subtle to pick on my tiny op3 screen

Thanks for the kind words. I agree life is beautiful. I'm fortunate to be able to film, seeing it visually helps remind me of this when I'm feeling down!

Absolutely love this video! ❤ Allow me one question: in minute 2:06 there are some artefacts in the top of the frame visible. Is that from the DJI OP3 or from something else?
@NoHomage8 ай бұрын
Hey, I just checked the raw footage to make sure. it's an inverted reflection from a flashing light for the bus just outside the window. it's like a strip led with the location of the bus type light.
@kundenstrategiecoach71278 ай бұрын
@@NoHomage Thank you for clarification! It was my first guess that it could be reflections.

Are you using a variable ND here or cranking the shutter speed?
@NoHomage8 ай бұрын
I'm cranking yeah. that light in Japan does wonders! in Melbourne I use a mix of ND and or manually since our light is different (altho I'm so keen to try this in Asia with all that soft light from the smoke)

I enjoyed this but the grade is like a putting on a tinted pair of sunglasses just all over saturated blue
@NoHomage8 ай бұрын
yeah fair, I lent into the blue on this one. initially one of my influences was this 2003 indie film Noi The Albino, and for the fuji episodes was going to try homage that aesthetic but the sky served up bright blue. anyway thanks for watching!

Great vid but the talking monologues make you sound like you are trying to be an artist not actually one. Your footage tells teh story no need for the waffle
@NoHomage8 ай бұрын
interesting opinion. before I'd tried my hand at vlogging I used to make films with no dialogue, and one of my more well received works has no words, all visuals. it's all subjective, so regardless thanks for watching. I have a few more visual ones coming up eventually but... I don't think you'll like the 3rd instalment for the FUJIKAWAGUCHIKO vlogs...The first was more long takes less words, the second more a conventional vlog and the upcoming 3rd and final episode brings back the monologue.
