How can I connect a shotgun into the input so that it leaves one channel free... I need to find a way to have shotgun audio on one side and wireless on other. Do I need to connect the shotgun with a XLR to mono 3,5 so it keeps one channel "clean"? And I am of course talking of the URX-P41D... if anyone know please share. Oh by the way - I do not want to use the wireless connector because it makes the rig clumsy. rather connect via cable.

Hi. Thank you for the video. Does the dual channel receiver bypass the cameras pre amps? Also do you know if the XLR-KM3 bypasses? Just seeing if there is a need for the Mix Pre in between

Technically in "digital" mode it should bypass the camera preamp if using the hot shoe data connector.

Can the PXW-Z90V accept the digital signal from this system through the SMAD-P5? Can I use the XLR male to Tip Ring Sleeve 1/8" cable with an XLR female to female turnaround and use this to input a line level signal from an audio board into the beltpack transmitters?

Hi, sorry but the PXW-Z90V will accept the analog input from the SMAD-P5, but not in the digital switch position. For your other question, the answer is yes. You can use the supplied XLR to 1/8” cable with an XLR turnaround, and use it to feed a line level signal into the transmitter. Just make sure to set the ‘input level’ menu to ‘line’.

To use a microphone that isn't a Sony, you'll need an adapter that follows Sony wiring. This isn't just an issue with DPA microphones.

@@juliareynes7243 Salut, non malheureusement personnes chez Dpa ou sony n'a réussi à m'aider. Aucune société de presta en France tel VDB, AEI ou Tapage n'a fait un recablage qui marche. J'ai laissé tombé en me disant que le prix abordable de ces HF comprenait certains sacrifice, comme l'utilisation des dpa !

Non pas de solution.. ni chez sony, ni chez dpa, aucune société de maintenance de matos son n’a trouvé le câblage qu’il faut. J’ai abandonné je t’avoue 😢. C’est sûrement pour ça qu’ils sont si peu cher, malgré les caractéristiques intéressantes.
