Bryan is explained to a T what it’s like doing the Commando mission and the need for the decompression phase. And he’s correct …Like a buddy of mine at the Beach told me as we look at Russia and China we will always have that ankle biter of Terrorism. So yes we’ll probably be back in Afghanistan or some where around that region…some units are already there

The United States is no good guy inside the continent of Africa. Case in point is Rwanda which has make a remarkable turn around post genocide. It's major city of Kigali is safer and cleaner than many European and American cities. The President of Rwanda is supposed to be the most successful living general ob Earth having won 3 wars. He has sent people to study how Singapore and China developed themselves out of a poor and low income country. He has implemented some lessons from both. Now enter the USA: grumbling by our political leaders has started because THEY want Rwanda to focus on LGBTQ apologetics and celebrations, AND they want Rwanda to submit itself under incompetent leadership we in the USA term "democracy." If sheer incompetency is a virtue through a game called musical chairs, then American businesses need to implement it with CEOs every 4 years. College and professional football teams need to switch head coaches every magical number 4 years too.

I’m not saying what the Chinese in Africa is good but if you aren’t not familiar with the book “Confessions of an Economic Hitman” America has done the EXACT same thing over giving crazy big un-repayable loans to many South American countries and profited off of the backs of other countries. For the record, neither is a “good thing”

I'll have to check it out but I'd be interested in knowing what the US has done in the last 30 years that is anything similar to China taking over a country's only international airport

@@FormerActionGuys ya for sure! Would be fascinated to hear what you think of the book! It left my jaw on the ground. First time/new listener (am listening to my 2nd ep 112 right now) and am really enjoying it to be honest! Interesting guests and insights.

That book has some basis in fact, but you should recognize that it does have certain bias. More importantly, the US has NEVER just "taken over", commandeered, stolen, or occupied permanently a ports or bases or land or facilities like China has done in Africa. China has straight-up STOLEN major infrastructure. Now China is attempting to do the same thing to the largest port in Australia! A major, 1st-world nation!! The US diplomats may ask for a vote in a certain direction at the UN, but haven't stolen and we have vacated bases and facilities many times. Clark AFB in the PI, the Panama Canal zone, etc....
