EP 151 New Ride! 2023 Can Am Maverick Sport XRC 1000R

EXCITING NEWS!
I traded my 2019 Can Am outlander 850 and picked up a 2023 Can Am Maverick Sport XRC Side by Side. In the same week my buddy JE traded his 2017 Can Am Outlander 850 and purchased a 2023 Can Am Commander XTP Side by Side. Both new machines have the 1000R motor.
We both had our own ideas as to what was important in a new SxS and picked our machines based on that. It mostly came down to JD being more interested in the larger cargo area and I was more interested in the more aggressive/sporty styling and didn't see a need for the larger cargo area for my use.
In either case they are both really nice machines and we are both plenty happy with our choices.
This video is our FIRST RIDE in our new machines. I quickly do a walk around for both machines and point out the similarities and differences.
Our first ride was through some fairly technical rocky trail, wide open dirt roads, water holes and the usual stuff we like to ride.

Two really Really good machines ! I had a Maverick Trail DPS 1000R before trading for my current X3 . The RC packages are where its at . The extra protecton that comes stock with beefed up front ends is worth the cost . Happy trails buddy , tossed ya a sub!

I agree with the RC package being the better choice. I had originally "bought" the XMR version but the day of purchase I literally changed my mind right before signing papers and went for the RC. Don't really need snorkels (I may ride the CVT exhaust a few inches but nothing else) for my type of riding and the extra protection on the RC is more valuable to me.That and in person I really do like the color scheme of the RC more than the XMR :)

I'm liking it a lot :) We ran a good variety of terrain that's close to what the majority of our rides will be. Got a good feel for it

It is a nice machine. Definitely more utility than my Maverick Sport but I'm partial to the Maverick styling :)
