This is Episode 16 of Guess the Trade? What I mean by that is... What does this Subscriber "Primarily" do with the tools in their bag?
But basically... Subscribers send in photos of the loadouts and we look them over and se what we can learn from them. You can be a Homeowner, Tradesperson, Handyman, whatever you call yourself... If you have tools we can all learn something from set-ups. It can be the way someone organizes their tools, or just a tool in general.
The questions aren't meant to be be answered in the video, but the comment section. Its a chance for us to learn from one another, and to get to know each other better.
Hope it is useful & THANKS FOR WATCHING!
If you want to send me photos of your loadout, you can send them to jmorg19804@gmail.com. It is best if they are in Landscape Mode. If you send pictures, make sure and include your KZbin Handle as well.

Last Best Tool has a good video comparing the Hultafors, Morakniv, and Bahco chisel knives. And another with those three, plus the Stanley chisel knife. Might be worth checking out, if you’re interested in them. I have a Morakniv and it’s pretty handy to have in a tool belt.

Hey joey, the milwaukee is an ir thermo #2267-20. I like it a lot, the screen is large and the settings are vast. My only complaint is that the laser died on me after dropping it. Still takes accurate measurements but I can no longer see the laser. The metal tape measure is a Pi Tape Measure. It wraps around pipes to find size and circumference so I don't have to do the math or carry a caliper. The chisel is the tojima electricians chisel knife. I like it, my only complaint the butt doesn't hold up well. I abuse my chisels and it doesn't take that well imo. But if you care for it, the quality is amazing. Just go into it knowing it doesn't have a metal strike plate, but again isn't really made for heavy duty chiseling for doors and latches. I chose it because of the slim profile. And I work as a handyman/apartment maintenance supervisor. The lc is my go bag with the shop storing all my other tools that I rotate into a rolling tool box stack.

No 1 Could be something to do with telecoms engineering, but they are missing some of the tools I would expect to see. No 2 seems to be a bit like a handy man / general building maintenance layout, seems to cover multiple aspects. I will have to get around to sorting my loadouts out and get them sent to you if you are running short.

Nice tools. I've about decided the TP-LC is my favorite Veto bag. Those inside side pockets are really useful, and the SB-LD would be perfect if it included those. My guesses: #1, Roadrageburleson, looks like he does low voltage data of some kind, but I don't think it's LAN (no punchdown tool); perhaps telecom, security systems, or industrial controls. He's got to reach into some tight spaces, maybe to move jumpers around inside cabinets, or similar configuration tasks. #2, kevinw1612, looks like he does first-line residential service and maintenance, perhaps in an apartment complex (although I didn't see a garbage-disposal wrench; the teflon tape suggests some kind of plumbing is probably involved). He's got lots of diagnostic tools, but isn't showing a lot of repair tools (e.g. for HVAC). Another missing item is a drywall saw, so his work probably doesn't include installation, just service. If he doesn't fix something, he'll know who needs to be called to do it.

Agree tplc is better than sbld much more usable. After the honeymoon with the sbld the tp6b is much more functional not so crampt in the front.

@@MattHmm-rq6dn 👍👍… I’m still running my SBLD. I’m halfway thinking about running my install driver in the back and putting all my nut drivers, bit holders, etc.. that you put in the drill in the pockets. Make it a drill driver bag… I bought the MB5B and SBLD and I may still end up using the TPLC and MCT Blackout 😂

@@MORGANSMaintenance The SB-LD looks like an apt computer service bag. Minimal tools are needed, so the sparse front may not be an issue. Spare or replacement boards, drives, and/or RAM can go in the protected back. It might also be good for HVAC; Ted Cook (Anti DIY HVAC) carries just three tools in on a lot of calls, plus a few connectors and scraps in a pocket; after all, if a part is bad, he's got to go back to his truck anyway.
@kevinw1612
@kevinw1612 Ай бұрын
The logic was crisp, lol. And yes, I'm an apartment maintenance supervisor/handyman. I do have other tools. This is just the go bag. My shop has all the tools for installation, drywall, paint, etc. These are the tools I can't get by without. So I can go to any call or apartment and be able to get 90% of the work done. I used to carry close to 60lbs of tools in a tech pac that had everything. My current apartments don't have garbage disposals, so I no longer keep the wrench on me. I'm switching locations, tho so the bag will be redone to include it. I do have a Milwaukee drywall saw, but I fell in love with using my multi tool (m12) for drywall. It's quicker and cleaner cuts for me personally. Perhaps not traditional, but it has served me well. If you have any recommendations please let me know. I'm still searching for a perfect perfect set up. But again great analysis.

Looking at az they have 2 versions I can't see wh being different ones 30 other is 15. You will like the slim jaws on the bahco it's in-between channellocks version and milwaukees chunky meaty jaws. There is slop there not perfect but way better than 3x the price for chromed snapon version. A tip for your new bahco adjustable wrench I got rhe tolerances a little tighter by putting a bronze or brass c clip tiny one on the knurl to stiffen it up. Can't wait to see your impressions!

The first loadout... that angled needle nose is probably Klein. I recently bought the needle nose and diagonal cutters that match those. It looks like a vintage Bell Systems branded tool. I think it's from the 1950s, so it probably never had grips. There's a chance that if he shows another view, it may have the v-cut on the jaw for telephone wire. Otherwise, it's just vintage Klein. I'm going to guess low- voltage tech. Maybe alarm systems or VDV work.

Flush clutters and garbage diesel multitool. Tell us what your really thinking 😂😂 @roadrageburleson I think may do some kind of factory line work on pneumatic and/or hydraulic solenoids. Because of the o’ring picks, network/ cable trace. Is the back scratcher in there to scratch or is it maybe for a long reach tool to drag dropped parts? @kevinw1612 Im guessing is an HVAC technician/ general maintenance.
