EP 16 Wood Pigeons on Rye Stubble

A nice afternoon decoying Wood Pigeons with my son as the retriever replacing Merlin for the day. After a bag off the same field of 105 earlier in the week I wasn't expecting too much action but we ended up with a good bag using the Beretta A400 light and Eley Pigeon cartridges and some other various bin ends.

nice video! The eager picker up reminds me so much of my days out with dad at that age haha as i'm certain he will remind many others too. You can be sure he'll remember all this for many many years to come good job starting him young!

Nice videos fella I’ve watch some of your wildfowling ones too. Great to see your lad loving it that what it’s all about next generation! Its difficult to tell distances from the video but think your decoys are to far out into the field, as your decoy bird seem quite a way out mate?

Thanks James but it’s just the go pro. The decoys are only set at around 20 yards.
