I vividly recall reading his book in middle school, which sparked my fascination with the crips and bloods. It's surreal to see many years later and be able to put faces to the names from that book. Big shoutout to Kev Mac, rest in peace to Monster Kody, Pretty Boy, and all the fallen soldiers.

I think monster kodys book turned me into a reader. Monster kodys book was the only book i could digest at first. Then i read a handful of books over the years and monsters book numerous times front to back or just certain chapters

When you tell stories like this, I feel like I’m there…I definitely appreciate you sharing these moments because they not only give me a good laugh but it gives good a look into the personalities of so many people that are only portrayed negatively.
