For some reason, people don't understand that many Mexicans are in fact of European descent, so it really shouldn't be any suprise that he looks "white", he probably is in fact white. Mexican is a nationality, a person can be White and Mexican, just like you can be Afro-Mexican, or African-American. Americans for some reason have associated the Mexican look with being exclusively "brown" and most Americans don't even know that this phenotype is actually an Amerindian phenotype, that isn't even exclusive to being Mexican. In Latin America there are whites, blacks, Asians, native Americans, middle eastern ethnic groups like Lebanese, Jews, Arabs. Latin America has always been a melting pot of groups and Mexico is no exception to this.
