Ep 174 | Jeremiah 1-20, Come Follow Me (October 10-16)

This is a great reminder to stand for truth. I am usually quiet and reserved person. I had an experience this past week that allowed me to see and feel a difference As a mother on my disciple journey. This year I have witnessed some heartbreaking things seeing my children work through their own hard journey. This weekend, 10-10-22 as a family we were able to go out of town to visit my daughter’s family as my granddaughter was being blessed. As I remembered that it was also testimony meeting , I prayed that someone would share their testimony that would soften my families hearts and turned them to the Savior. Several minutes into the meeting I had this thought, it’s you! It’s you, bear your testimony. As I shrugged that thought off with a thought , they already know and hear my testimony often. Several minutes later I took my two year old granddaughter out to get a drink in the lobby. As we walked back in to sit down, my granddaughter ran up to the front of the meeting. As I walked up to get her, another thought came to mind share your testimony. I picked her up and walked up to the pulpit. I didn’t have much of a plan on what to say. I remember testifying that the Savior brings peace, comfort, strength and courage in hard times when we lean on him. I don’t know if that touched anybody’s lives today. I did notice that, my husband got up as well as my daughter and her husband bore their testimonies on this special day. My our testimonies together touch the lives of our other. This was such a tender reminder to me that as I act on promptings and let go of my anxieties the Savior will give me the words to say and the actions to go and do. Also that He is watching over each one of us even when we walk another path. Having my granddaughter lead me up to the front of the meeting reminds me of the scripture and a little child shall lead them. We won the war in Heaven w our testimony and we will win again w our testimonies as we care for them and share them often . ♥️
