Hi Lisa and Glen , when your down at the caravan again I can recommend a good round trip on boat and train. Its the Dartmouth rail river tour. Catch the steam train at Kingswear which takes you to Paignton then open top bus to Totnes and then boat trip down the river back to Dartmouth. Brilliant day out x

Three things. First I love the train. Normie and I are besotted with them. The trip across Canada is amazing with a nice bedroom, gourmet food and lots of wine in the dome car!! Second the thingy that goes up and down the cliff is a funicular. The one at Scarborough is deadly steep....and a little bit scary. And number three.....many moons ago in 2004 we came home for a visit and I took Norm to Silverstone. We strolled into the pub and Norm, in his best Canadian accent, says Hi guys I've just come to make sure you are looking after my village. (Check the surname!! lol) Well what a riot. Lots of laughter, a drink on the house and dozens of new friends. It was the most fun without seeing any car racing. Love and hugs you guys. Keep safe and well.
