Adventures of an old Seadog this is one of the best areas in Australia, unfortunately a lot of the small Resorts have closed. Most have been brought by the Chinese and mothballed. So no spots similar to the ones you’re visiting in the Pacific. I’m impressed to see you commenting, can’t wait for your take on Australia. I’d love meet you and to buy you a beer. 😎🏖🌴☀️🇦🇺

Happy Bay was a great little Resort. Unfortunately it was closed before cyclone Debbie. When it was still running it had birding feeding and Happy Hour around six each night, with moorings at the front to use. It was the last small Resort with personality to close. Sawmill Beach, CID Harbour was a major staging area for the American fleet during WW2, in preparation for the Battle of the Coral Sea. The walk up to the lookout at the top of Whitsunday Is is awesome, it provides one of the best views of the surrounding area in the Whitsundays. I’ve not been back up that way since Debbie, it’s great to see the area has recovered really well. Thanks for sharing and stay safe! 😎🏖🌴🇦🇺

lovely music....thx for showing me parts of the Whitsunday area...some place I never got to when in your waters.. What were you expecting in the traps - some sort of marsh crabs? Very different place to go crabbing from where you 'd crap in B.C. Canada waters....same traps though. Really liked seeing the dead coral beach and all the shapes. We never see that on west coast Canada. Our oysters are much larger too...some hand sized and then some!!! Never thought your area had those marshy areas either...sort of looks bayou-ish, like in the south US state areas....just a weird inland marsh area. Love your vids...keep 'em coming. Sure hope you get to have a west coast Canadian sailing adventure one of these years....you'd love it here. Remain safe.

Hi Kyoto. I didn’t use a gimble in this episode, all handheld. I’ve been practicing! I found the snake curled up in the box when I was doing a clear out. Getting the bellows back on is certainly an art form in itself, especially the exhaust. You certainly need to be sure it’s water tight, or the universals will be buggered in no time. You also need to make sure the water hose is right, or there’s no cooling water. Of course the answer to your question really depends on what your mechanical ability is like. Hope this helps!?
