I saw 2 episodes of the Hills rewatch..the last was about Jen kissing Brody and yup..its all about how much can we blame it on LC. Even Heidi tried putting words in Jens mouth when Jen last saw LC at a yoga class (I think). Heidi has definitely not let any of it go but still hopes her and LC can be friends again...makes no sense.

I’m on kristen side when it comes to jason’s apology! Also as an audience member who was a freshman in high school at the time it aired, it was refreshing & empowering to see Lauren stick up for herself! It made her more mature & a great role model for young teens. If we saw her take jason back so easily, it would’ve been disappointing

I love this great episode, and it was super clear MTV orchestrated Kristin going to Lauren’s. Kristin not speaking to Lauren, came from being positioned in a situation that felt unauthentic. I also felt for Jason, cause you can tell he didn’t know how to get in touch with his feelings or communicate effectively (he was a teenager, who did?). I love love love this podcast, it’s literally a dream! I hope they can continue it!

What separates Laguna and the Hills is that before the show, Laguna wasn't fake, it wasn't staged, it wasn't desperation for fame. Genuine friends, good, kind, friendly, caring individuals who over these years actually grew up, matured, took accountability, owned their errors, learned from their mistakes, are successful, accomplished and champion each other, cheer for each other. Kudos to both of you, the viewers past and present are constantly cheering you and the entire first 2 seasons casts of Laguna on and always will!

I saw it wasn’t that great lol I only committed to watching it a year into Covid (before Whitney did it in her channel and was super excited to see once I saw Whitney was going to do it because they’re hilarious!!!!😂😂) because I saw a few of the OG come back and LC’s sister is in it too but she shows up more towards the middle/end she isn’t really too much in it. Part of the awkwardness with Lauren and Kristen would be that they were in different grades, right? In high school age feels like a bigger deal. Like when you're a freshman the seniors feel like a generation away. Lol. One year isn't that big of a thing...but still. While Kristen was ending high school, Lauren had a year away living on her own in college. Also Stephen was Lauren's grade...so they'd been friends and probably had classes and teams and whatnot together all those years. Anyways not super surprised she might feel nervous about saying hello or goodbye to Lauren at her party. Remember those nerves being pretty standard at that age.

I bet these two are going to pass on Season 3 to Cami and Kendra. Yes? No? Lauren’s end of summer party was a fun way to send off everyone into the next chapter of their lives. A stark contrast from her fun pool party, this was meant to be a classy affair with catered food and conversation. Lauren did genuinely invite Kristin to her home for the cocktail party. And Kristin was rude as a guest. Also, it may have been nice if Lauren had gone over to Kristin and Alex when they were off to the side from everyone- but maybe it was felt that Stephen was over there entertaining them. Who knows. This could have been more of a game changer had the two engaged at the time. I respect how Jason made himself vulnerable to Lauren by going to her home, where he was not allowed into nor welcome. Also, the meet up with Jessica was a nice moment as well. How did Heidi bring Lauren and Kristin together?
