The white beams looks great against the ceiling if you would have stained them you wouldn't noticed them because there wouldn't have been enough contrast with it. Love the rock you used on the fire place. You both work great together I'm glad y'all show when you are having an off day and not try and make out that you're perfect. Love to you both!❤

I found that grouting (mortaring?) Our fireplace was a balance of enough mortar in the bag and it being too heavy to hold up in the air! Your fireplace stone looks like it's always been there. Nice work both of you!

It's gorgeous!!! I would add some kind of pantry wall (maybe w/ coffee bar) on the side with no window since your kichen has no pantry. It will really help the resale value and give so much extra storage for dog treats! ❤

I feel like adding 2 drywall screws to support bigger stone couldnt hurt probably what I would do and then just remove them when I grout kinda like using a spacer for tile.

I keep thinking to myself, “this is going to end sooner or later.
