Thanks for coming up with an excellent reason to use cable lifters....It has always been trouble to vacuum around speaker cables! R the codec discussion...I may be an old fart...but I am not so critical with the sound of headphones, be they earbuds or something else. If I want to listen to great sound, I prefer speakers. Oh yes, I really appreciate the power cable discussion. It amazes me that people think they can hear a difference in sound by inserting different thicknesses of wire into the power cable...I am waiting for audiophile house wiring and audiophile circuit breakers for your household breaker box. I do find line filter/surge protectors, whatever protectors very useful as higher quality power strips vs the typical big box or amazon strips...no thought whatsoever that they could improve the sound.

@@AudioUnleashed how could it not...of course, even it affects the sound, it may not be audible to humans. Your dog may appreciate the changes....or perhaps bats in the neighborhood (as opposed to some designers with bats in the belfry)
