The maximum speed of an F5 fighter jet is 1737km/h.The straight distance from Nanyuki to Nairobi is about 147 km .So Hezbon Odiero was right when he said the F5 fighter jet can take 5 minutes at full speed to reach Nairobi from Nanyuki . But we have now heard from that Air Force officer who was based in Nanyuki that the two F5 jets were indeed flown from Nanyuki heading to Nairobi but Major Mutua and Kagawanja who flying the other jet tricked their captors and dumped the bombs at Mount Kenya forest before heading back to Nanyuki Air Base.

I commend that Airforce officer who has clarified that two F5 fighter jets were flown to Bomb strategic installations in Nairobi, but because the pilots were patriotic, they deceived their captors, summersaulted the planes , throwing their captors off guard, dropped the bombs in mount kenya and flew back to Nanyuki Air Base.

This is why I always say and insist that not everyone in prison is a criminal. The tone from the voice of this ex-airman gives out the pain and bitterness he has but I would urge him 2 leave bygone 2 be bygone. Those who subjected u 2 this misery and suffering are long dead and those alive are out there being tortured mentally,haunted and tormented by ua tears and blood 4 those who were injured or killed. I was myself locked up in a cell for afew hours by my own family members and I know the pain of such an experience/ ordeal especially now that u were the victim of evil and wicked disciples of the crooked,autocratic government. There is a special reason why u got out of the misery fit and sane. Easy. I grew up loving military and disciplined forces but at some point upon knowing better I came 2 forgive nature 4 not having been enlisted otherwise I could have ended up being executed by the firing squad 4 defying fucking orders and disregarding what u in military term 2 as RULES OF ENGAGEMENT. Go about ua life and focus ahead man. Cheers.
