This is an absolute classic ! Simply loved it. Daniel is true "free" unbiased in his podcasts and interviews. Kushal, I think has done great service to the many Indo-Canadians by educating them on issues, one of them being how the primary elections in Canada and how they are rigged. "Foreign interference" is the right word, as folks on temporary permits can vote in Canada, especially for the K-gangs. Especially with him alienating by saying Quebec as a sovereign nation (regarding his response of not speaking french) . Imagine Quebec Liberal caucus wanted badly to get rid of trudeau (who's Francophone as well, his seat is in Quebec), to be replaced by a guy who doesn't want to align with Quebec (whether his take on Quebec is good or bad that's a different topic) But to answer your question, anyone is a fall guy, him included, but I wouldn't be surprised if he gets eliminated the leadership race. He won't make it. The reason is simple. One is about leadership race rigging. Liberal might have Hindu support, but I think Hindus will be the least in terms of getting involved with vote rigging, Khalistanis is known for it, so it will be hard for Arya. Previously, anyone can vote for the leadership, including tourist, the minimum age is 14 yrs. Although they changed the rule of who can vote (they did this because Canadians and especially Indians did a stunt, watch Sham Sharma show global podcast you will get it, unless you are aware), they still have that 14 yrs as minimum age and they allow Citizens and Permanent Resident. As if allowing Permanent Resident to vote leadership race gets any better. Kushal already explained how Khalistanis takes advantage of vote rigging for Permanent Resident (they are doing this on the Conservative Party cause they allow it). So, to sum it up, you will have woke young kids who have 0 clue about anything, plus Khalistanis will vote against Arya. Also, if you go Wikipedia for 2025 leadership race, Arya says he opposes DEI hiring, which is bread and butter for Liberal party. The entry fee is damn expensive, like $350k. The only confirmed candidates for leadership are Chandra Arya and Frank Baylis (former MP from 2015-2019). Arya got elected in 2015, which makes it 9.5 years, and the MP salary is almost $200k. You multiply by 10 yrs, which is $2 million. Keep in mind he's a backbencher and hasn't assigned any minister position (as opposed to other projected candidates). Idk what Chandra Arya is thinking, but using 1/4 of his earning (assuming $2M is what he saved, but can be less than that. There might be other source of income like donations) as an entry fee is suicidal. Entry fee for a losing battle, like Kushal said, "sinking ship." Leadership tho dhoor ki baath, he need to focus on his own MP seat which he has to spend $50k to $100k, which is projected to lose to Conservative Party candidate
