I love when you have subjects on saving the environment. It is our future.

I never buy any mason jars. I keep all my spices, pulses and other stuff in the pasta sauce glass jars. Now I am also using the coffee glass jars to store different items like sugar, tea, flour, nuts etc. They look awesome and neat! I am glad I never tried to buy any storage containers or mason jars that so many people buy unnecessarily.

Download the app PaperKarma. You take a photo of junk mail and they unsubscribe for you. It’s awesome!

I keep all the non-lamenated junk mail for when I'm camping. If I have a lot I composting it. Same thing applies to toilet paper rolls, egg cartons (not Styrofoam), and paper towel rolls (if you haven't transitioned to reusables).

Question Everything. This mantra helps break the "taking things for granted" mindset. Being aware takes energy and mindfulness, yet is a rewarding way of life.

I was sitting next to a guy on a plane a few years ago that was from Vancouver and we were both leaving Las Vegas. He was there to discuss recycling issues in Las Vegas as it’s all buried in the desert, or it had been. We both could not believe that there wasn’t a program there at the time

I used to bring my clothing that was too worn or stained to be donated to my local county recycling center to be recycled. Recently they stopped clothing recycling because it just costed them too much to recycle. I had a huge bag to drop off one day and the attendant said “just chuck it” 😱 I was so bummed!

Apple has been fighting "right to repair" for years. Technology companies build in obsolescence to their products. I just received a notification from my mobile provider that my 2013 iPhone 6 (4G) will need to be replaced because my mobile provider is moving to 5G.

I don't know how it works in US but in many countries on Europe you can get special sticker for your postbox that says "no, thanks for adds", you usually get it from the post office and it prevents all mail, that does not have your name on it

Las Vegas Nevada has a fantastic recycling program. On top of the city pickup program there are some great recycle locations that you can take many items to drop of or sell.

Although I agree on the magazine and wasted paper, one of those producers on magazines and such are in my town. Due to the less paper situation, we have SO many losing jobs:(

Love the minimalists and love all the podcasts, just curious about using re-usable masks especially now.

I don’t know if this is an option but old phones, tablets and laptops might be something to donate to a local computer programming department at a college or high school. My husband is an app developer and he keeps his old phones to test his coding on for the company he works for. I’m guessing students could be doing the same thing. Or like you mentioned opening them up to learn how they’re made. As far as cords, they can be recycled but also sold on eBay. There are resellers out there that buy up old cords for just about anything and sell them on eBay 🤷♀️

Thrift store silverware for the “reusable” ware I bring with me. It’s cheap and I always need more spoons. 🤦🏻♀️

Everytime I hear about donation I remember this story. My aunt and uncle had a neighbour. He was a drunk that used to drink his social wellfare money first 10 days of the month and after that he was fed and dressed by charity and even given more money to buy food that everybody knew was for more alcohol. He would wear the clothes he was given by charity until they were dirty. Then he would throw them away and go back for some more. The only thing he would bother to clean were socks, because there wern't enough donations of socks and he didn't get enough pairs of them to do the same he would do to the rest of the clothes. One day I can tell you how charity works in mine and most european countries.
