A king named Cheraman perumal saw the moon split from my place in Kerala, India and he enquired about it to some sahaba’s reached my place. He then went to madeena, met our prophet and accepted Islam. He asked his people to build a mazjid in my place. Please search in the internet to see the mazjid. What an excellent series on the proofs of prophethood Muhammad pbuh who was a mercy to the worlds. In the darkest period of humanity Allah sent light unto the world to bring humanity back to the worship of One God. His prophethood and the Quran is proof for mankind, if only they come to it with a sincere heart. Our religion Islam is rational,intelligent and full of wisdom if we use our faculties. As someone who is looking into Islam and considering it wholeheartedly, I wish the source of every claim was cited in the video so that I may go study it. Instead I am just told that something happened but I don't know if it is from a Surah of the holy book, from hadith, tafseer, or made up. Great video but please cite sources

Hello, So this is a simplistic explanation but there no sources to refer to this that was written at the time of the event except quran itself. The collection of hadiths that were written about this event date back to 200 years or so from the passing of the prophet. So it's very very fuzzy

Quran 17:58-59: وَإِن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا نَحْنُ مُهْلِكُوهَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ أَوْ مُعَذِّبُوهَا عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا ۚ كَانَ ذَٰلِكَ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مَسْطُورًا وَمَا مَنَعَنَآ أَن نُّرْسِلَ بِٱلْءَايَٰتِ إِلَّآ أَن كَذَّبَ بِهَا ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ ۚ There is not a population but We shall destroy it before the Day of Judgment or punish it with a dreadful Penalty: that is written in the (eternal) Record. And We REFRAIN from sending the signs (now in front of Meccans), only because the men of former generations treated them as false. It is very clear that Allah said in the Quran no miracles would be sent to Mohammed, so why are you contradicting the Quran?

Cracks and splits in the Earth's surface are common occurrences, and there are many places where such events happen, like the large earth crack in South Africa

No it hasn’t there is no evidence of it splitting. There is a fault line, a crack on the surface just like earth, you can see it on a clear night. but the Quran claims it was split in two. And that my friend is ridiculous.😂
