Working RGN for a major road construction company, almost all my deliveries is side if the road, even major highways. I feel most drivers look at us and think "target!!!". Be safe be good sir!!!!

No joke!! I feel for you guys with all these crazy people who ate always in a hurry anymore. We are all in a hurry in one way or another but definalty not worth putting someone's life at risk.

Helluva place to unload, people driving out there are just plain ignorant, be careful out there. Glad everything worked out for you.

You're not wrong. Seems like no one cares anymore

It always makes me nervous. We do that all the time. I don't like it at all. We had to sign a form saying that we will only drop behind barrier walls. That we sign while we are working on the side of I95 with no wall.
@johnmaclachlan6818Ай бұрын
Your large car looking good. 👍. We just had a bad accident on I-96 north of Novi to where a big rig plowed into a bunch of cars and ended up with four or five fatalities. Be safe out there.

Yikes...seems like it's happening more and more these days.

Road side deliveries always dicey. But dicey makes it exciting. That paperclip trick works every time. I’ve picked up many trailers that only have the lights work a little paperclip or a little piece of wire in there works perfectly. Stay safe Brett ✌️
@PatriotSpecializedАй бұрын
Yes sir..it's an old school trick that works in a pinch for sure.

We pull those. A lot on our step decks out of Washington
@PatriotSpecializedАй бұрын
Yeah it was a step deck load for sure but we made it work!!

@ that’s the way to do it. I’ve seen our rgn guys load 4 skid steers to get out of an area. It’s quite funny to see. Just like when I have a single 5 series Deere on my step for one of our main customers

Good morning, Brett! The way that split on your tire sidewall is pretty scary stuff! I needed steer tires on my Freightshaker Classic, and I wanted to go with Bridgestones. The shop I stopped at only had one, and they weren't going to get a delivery with more of them for 2 days, and I needed to roll out early the next morning. They had a pair of Yokohamas in low pro 24.5s, so I went with them. About 12,000 miles later, I picked up a load of 3 handicap vans in northern Indiana on my step deck. My 1st stop was in Champaign, IL, where 2 of the 3 came off. After unloading them and getting my securement gear stowed I did a quick walk around and when I got to my left steer tire I found a split in the sidewall just above the bead identical to the one on your tire. Fortunately, there was a tire shop about a mile away from me. The split was so bad that I was not happy about having to drive the tractor there on that tire! When the tech broke the bead down at the split, the sidewall tore away from the bead. The tech told me that the Big Guy upstairs had to have stuck His fingers in there when I was going down the road because the sidewall should have completely blown out several miles before I got to my first drop! He said that it was even a complete miracle that it held up on the one mile drive from my customer to their shop! That was the last set of Yokos I bought!!! I certainly didn't want to run that risk again!!!!! I still love your channel, Bud! I would really like to see more with expanded content, but I know that would be really tough on you when you are putting the uploads together. No worries, though. I'm not going anywhere. I'll just keep on enjoying what you are able to upload for us. Be careful and have a GREAT DAY, my friend!!!

What kind if expanded content? I'm always looking for new ideas.

Well, let's see... As I have previously shared with you, I was forced into an early retirement due to complications of a nearly 20 year old back injury irritated by very unsmart lifting of heavy items in nearly all of the jobs I had over the years. I was warned by the 'old farts' that I worked with that went kinda like this, "Sonny, one of these days you are going to really regret this." This said I deeply miss my days over the road. I follow a few other trucking channels and one thing that I very much enjoy is when they take us along for the ride by placing Go Pros on the load and in the 0:02 cab watching life travel by through the windshield. However, I know how much time the whole production of a good quality episode consumes, so if you aren't able to do those, I fully understand! Regardless, I will not stop viewing each and every episode that you share with us. This channel, in my opinion, is one of the very best on all of "the Tube"!!! All of this said, I would really enjoy getting to ride along with you as your co-driver. It would be fun getting to enjoy more of your "shenanigans"! Be careful out there with all of those organ donor wannabes that are looking for an opportunity to get turned into a big, ugly skid mark on the big road!

@danimal0921 hmmm. Let me see what I can do. I did that on one of my early episodes. I'll just have to use one of the go pros that I don't use very often and see how the battery holds up. Typically we only get about 30 minutes of record time on a battery. Good suggestion. I'm in.

Mrs Mayhem approves of the facial fur lol. Actually for full disclosure, it was Mrs. Mayhem who came up with the name "The Beast"... i think her words were to the efeect holy crap she is a beast! Ive just used it. She also looked at me inquiring if I had "worked scenes" like that thinking it was a bit insane. I had to tell the truth yes this is a bit dull actually, I was more used to being out on 90 in the middle lane with traffick blasting by on both sides. Ok Beast head for the house, I pray that you and family have a most blessed and wonderful weekend.🙏💜

Hahaha next episode I'm going to get the truck name party started I think. I feel for anyone working on the road side anymore. These people just don't care and half the time are to self absorbed in their own little bubble in life to pay attention to what's going on around them.
