I am not at all surprised that you have an alarm to tell you when the wine is running out 😉, a touching episode and I am sure the Camden Settlement spirits will appreciate your sentiment x

Hi Team, you have the best Kimberley exploration videos on You Tube, thanks for the journey. The place is so prolific fish wise that you can catch fish by accident, I'm convinced your success is accidental no one could have as little success as you two if they were trying.🤙👍

Living as we do in Western Australia we are learning so much from you two about the Kimberley. Keep up the tremendous work and by the way your drone footage in previous episodes has been superb. Harley & Shelley

Love your work. It was especially good to see Hanover Bay, where in 1867 English explorer George Grey began his expedition to walk to the Swan River Colony. If you are interested in a potted history of his ill-fated odyssey let me know and I would be happy to email it to you. Cheers and keep up the excellent work.

Sorry, that should be 1837 that Grey landed in Hanover Bay.

Poor people, what hardships must they have endured? Pity about the wine, though. Enforced sobriety until you reach the next bottle store. You'll live. What a country, and what a life you have. All the best for the new year, take care.

Pity about the wine loss. How are you going to manage 2 months without it ? Thanks for sharing your journey. Love the content. Wet & cold in Northampton so you are better off where you are now. 🙂 Be careful of the music in the background, you might get a strike for copyright. It happened to another sailing channel and you could barely make out the music was playing. Fair winds & regards from the UK

Just shows, I feel for the poor souls I never knew from Camden Settlement. It is clear the promise of a new life ended in death - were misled by people possibly of ignorance or bad intent driven by self-interest. Some human beings aren't human at all? Loss of wine is painful, I keep mine in bottles that are packed in reusable blowup plastic air wine packs you can buy online. Kimberley, what an adventure... If you can imagine removing water and plant growth, from your epic videos, it could be the topography of the Mars landscape. SV Skoiern IV.

Don't give up. Give the bilge a taste. Country folk can survive. Worst, it's a bit of a petroleum taste. Kind of like drinking beer while changing a blown hydraulic line on the farm.

I'm I missing somefink. 🤯 when you go to a place where the weather is very very hot you can't go without a drink of water for very long ..what the hell were they thinking no fresh water for miles and hostile native's to boot.....
@janshort36632 жыл бұрын
That's exactly what I was going to ask. Why didn't they build near the water?
@LifeinaNutshell2 жыл бұрын
I believe the water was about five kilometres away. When they first settled it was at the shore then they moved closer to the water for the main settlement… I think. W.

Thank you. This is incredible. Those brave souls must have been disappointed. It would have been much easier to farm crocodiles. Next time take two kegs....
