Outstanding, epic and spectacular!!! This was one of the best episodes, the art was, to me, kind of haunting especially with those huge areas of shells, never seen anything like it! Yeah, the brisket and fried oysters made me hungry! It’s hard to believe a people survived and flourished in such a harsh environment, amazing. Thanks so much, throughly enjoyed every second of that!

There was no written language, so we’ll never truly know. We can only surmise. Author, Grahame Walsh, wrote a book describing many of the paintings. W.

Brisket look so good. If you put a small B beans tin os such with some holes in it in the camp oven with a small coal, it will not soak up the juice. Looking forward to the new adventures when you pass Mooloolaba stop in for a beer.

Fried oysters, first time, simple batter. The brisket was juicy but shrunk some. That was a treasure trove of art work. Are you allowed to mist water on the rock art work to highlight them better? The music and drone sequences were divine.
@LifeinaNutshell3 ай бұрын
Thank you. I’m not sure about the misting idea. I’m gals you enjoyed the done footage and music. W.

Video was way cool Wendy. Any idea how old the rock art is? And are the artist’s descendants still in the area? Also love the music in the video and the meal looked fantastic, thanks for all your efforts. Look forward to the next one!
@LifeinaNutshell3 ай бұрын
Hi Karl. The rock art is thought to be about 12,000 years old. The areas are no longer inhabited. The people have moved to towns and communities. That’s my understanding anyway. So glad you enjoyed the episode. The landscape is magical and makes you feel like you’ve gone back in time. Thanks for the comment. W

Back in my previous life as a liveaboard, I had a guaranteed weather system. If I put my head out the hatch, and it came back wet. It was raining. If it came back dry, it was going to rain. If my beard disappeared, it was blowing its tits off, and I had to find shelter. If none of the above, then you were in deep trouble. Because something has control of the climate. Haha. Hey Magnus when's your cookbook coming. I'll buy it mate. Anyway thanks for sharing. Great episode. Great editing. Atb from across here in Nz.

Hi Vanessa. We are now onboard our new boat. We’ll post the last of the sailing Nutshell videos and then start the new chapter with Houseboat Nutshell. It’s going well. We had quite a few boat jobs to do to get her ready to leave the dock, but we are now underway and enjoying the differentness of living on a houseboat. W.
