saadar pranaams to you both. Very nicely explained and good answer for the question. IMHO, moksha is to be sought by the individual and nobody can be the reason or casue of moksha. I find it akin to one's hunger; I myself have to eat to satisfy my hunger, not someone else. About antima samskaara, I remember reading a couple of instances from Srimad Bhagavatapurana wherein the wife prepares the funeral pyre for the husband. In these episodes, however, they commit sahagamana as they are in vaanprasthashrama. My 2 cents about not allowing daughters to perform antima samskara maybe because it is very exhaustive and highly emotional lighting a fire to a body that was the responsible for bringing you to this world. The females are much closer to the phenomenon of birth and nourishment of baby than the males. It is assumed that females are less prepared to undergo these rituals and rigors. Hence the prohibition and cretainly not because they are considered inferior. Sampa ji has explained this very well indeed. It is always enlightening and a huge pleasure listening to him 🙏
